His fights aren't often pretty to watch and he can be occasionally a pain in the backside to referee but I want to go on the record after this fight tonight:
    There is no man tougher
    There is no man braver

It was a hell of a fight tonight and just like he has never backed away from a challenge in his short career he kept on coming and coming tonight despite taking some pretty brutal punishment. Mr Kirby you have my undying respect and admiration!

I'm surprised he lasted that long. One hell of a chin and heart.

Very tough but does himself no favors by having a terrible training program.

Not fit and not in shape.

lot of heart but stubborn as a bull mik was tierd b4 the bell rang he fought that fight a million times in his head b4 he got there
he peaked wy to early and looked drained on the night
and was fit just overload of work to much his body wasnt ready to be punished so badly b4 the fight it takes time to get fit not a couple of fights and you think your ready
mik did 12 comfortable rounds for a month and took 10 times worse punching then that at training he peaked way to early

Great chin against Aussie or local oppposition. One of the Klit brothers wld have him out in 1 or 2rds realistically.

Mick Kirby is big, very tough but zero ability

I think this thread is just appreciating the guys fortitude...

P.S. **** the Klit Bros Beaver... the game is at a point where men like these dominate the scene, yet demand very little interest through borish dominance.. that being the case is the very reason Tua vs Cameron is the biggest H/W fight this year... anything might happen, weather it last 10 seconds or 10 rounds.. its a very viewable encounter. No disrespects.
