The irony is that the Americans love this fight!

Joe isn't blantantly ducking him he doesn't owe the middle weight champ a dam thing while he is currently at lt heavy ..He mentioned his name so what ,tell me how many times do you hear boxers calling other boxers out ?? Why wasn't there this many dam threads about Guzman and Pacquio ? There was an open letter to Pac on several web sites but you don't hear all this crap about that !

Joe has got my respect after the Lacy fight since then he fought Kessler a much more accomplished fighter than Pavlik and probalbly as dangerous but for some reason you like to put Pavlik on this pedastal like he's this unstoppable force and Joe is afraid of him when thats simply not the case !

 

Did you watch the interview that has been posted like 25 times? Joe did a helluva lot more than mention Pavlik. He said ending his career with a fight with Jones would be a disappointment, and the next thing out of his mouth was the name Kelly Pavlik. Joe came very close to winning me over with the Kessler fight. Considering what he has said and done since then I have no respect for him whatsoever.

 

Yes he stated that he would like the winner of Taylor /Pavlik he also said he would invite Pavlik to one of his next fights ..But so what is he the first to do this ? And I honestly beleive he always wanted to fight Jones but Warren did not this is why he's out the picture ..

But well done for fighting the fight, I myself have given up on the morons of this place.

 

I'm just very passionate about boxing and hate the new age boxing fan ..There is so much disrespect ,I felt compelled to say something .

 

Maybe he is holding the belts for that reason....to defend against someone else after beating Jones......IF he beats Jones. All logic says Joe should be a far past his prime Roy since Joe is still pretty much at his best overall. He may have lost a half step in terms of speed but with his recent JUMP up in level of competition I think he is at his very best. He should get past Jones but I feel Jones is going to pull off a HUGE upset for some reason...it's just a feeling I have. Should this happen I'd like to see if this rejuvinates Roy or if this will be his last great fight.
