    yeah and Shane also is a cheater who took steroids. I would be willing to fight anybody to if I was juiced. And Shane probably didn't think he was mismatched especially aginst Wright. Wright is a light puncher but he just thoroughly outclassed Shane with boxing skill.

    Race is a part of it whether people want to admit it or not. No brash black athelete is taken to in the United States. People bring up Ali, but he was hated more so then Floyd while he was a fighter. They hated that he wouldn't go to Nam and fight...they hated he was Musilm 2. They only embraced him when his career was done. If the Klits or Joe C were American, they would be loved here period. That's just the way it is. I'm not saying everyone here is racist, but this is generally how it is in America. Example...T.O. Top notch HOF wide reciever. Never been in trouble with the law, no drugs, or anything. Showboat, big mouth...they hate him. Steve Smith...top notch WR...fist fights teammates in practice, but he's laid back and quiet. Never hear bad press on him. America likes their blacks to act like Floyd Patterson, Sugr Shane, and guys like that. No slight to them because they are just doing them. People always want to holler race card, but truth is truth. Like homeboy said, Shane has been caught cheating...he's personable though so he gets a pass...this **** is insane.

    Most people in the world prefer humans that are like that..that's what needs to be understood ! It's not just a black issue, its a human being's attitude kind of issue !!

    ARE YOU ****ING KIDDING ME?!:rofl:rofl:lol::lol:

    No NO and NO! If you wanna make that comparison. Look at Kelly Pavlik. No one outside of Youngstown knows who the **** Pavlik is. That guy is humble, KO artist, exciting to watch...a real standup guy...I never saw him being on sports covers and ****in' being brought up as the next american hope. Or being talked about in the US as someone people who tune into. He was literally "A GHOST!"

    Thinking him being white would make him more accepted is ****ing hilarious. If anything, I'd think he'd find more people clowning on his ass because he's white. If he was white and had the same attitude, that **** would be PURE COMEDY! You'd see skits being made everywhere "White people say the darnest things" and all this other bull****.

    I mean c'mon man. That race card **** is old. We're not in the 60's anymore man. I mean we have a black president FFS. Im not saying racism is completely gone, but to say we hate Mayweather because he's black is straight up ignorant. There are plenty of other black fighters receiving HIGH HIGH praise and aren't dicks or hated. Mosley, Bradley, Jacobs, Ward, Taylor, Hopkins, etc. etc.

    People don't like brash athletes period it doesnt matter if there black and no if the Klits were American that wouldn't somehow make Wlad not boring look at Hopkins hes american and a world class fighter didn't exactly have the support of the casual fans for most of that 10 year 20 title defense run because they thought he was boring and why do most americans like a majority of the mexican fighters more than most of there own? people the casual fans like agressive fighters they want to see wars or brutal knockouts that's why Mayweather had to adept his attitude so people would pay to see him lose because his style bores the casual fan.

    That's ur opinion. I love it when guys like Deion high stepped into the endzone, or when guys in the ring drop theri hands, dance and make theri opponents look silly. I love it when people talk ****. To me it makes everything more entertaining. I undertsand its not for everyone but a lot of African Americans do like it.

    Then you're the only pulling on your own race card. You feel he's hated because he's doing something that he feels African Americans like, yet will be frowned upon by any and every other culture because on a human level...that kind of **** is just pompous of the highest order.

    Your pinning yourself on a cross here...it's not a race thing...it's a cultural thing...understand the difference.

    Its both. That's the culture of a good portion, but definitely not all of the African American race.

    I mean im not that into some of the behavior and culture of other races but I still respect them.

    You black? :lol: you talk about him "not making weight" like he's made a habbit of it :roll:, that's plain stupid, furthermore didn't he fight Oscar when Oscar called all the shots? Hatton called him out after winning big fights at 147 so he took the fight what else did you expect? when he called out Mosley Shane bitched out and it was the same with Cotto at 140 so you need to get more informed, and if you don't think a large majority of the Floyd haters aren't prejudice against him purely because he's an outspoken, flashy African American who backs his chat then you don't have a clue about the situation.

    Great post. I agree with all of it, and i'm not a massive Floyd fan, I just can't understand why people get so obsessed with seeing him fail/ **** on him constantly etc.

    If you don't like his flashy attitude fair enough - I can see why you would dislike the guy. But the ''he only fights smaller fighters'' is bollocks, hugely outweighed by De La Hoya on fight, Castillo by 9 pounds and there are more. He's been at bigger weight disadvantages in the past than Marquez is in this fight, so it's quite hypocritical to call him a *****.

    ''He doesn't fight the best fighters out there'' - Eh he fought all the best at the time from 130 and 135, and decent opposition above that. Sure there are still a few left to fight at 147 but the thing is : he's not finished yet. I'll criticize him for not fighting the winner of Pac-Cotto, but I can't see him not to be honest. I see Floyd retiring after at the very least fighting 2 of Cotto/Pac/Mosley.

    Man, you aint said **** wrong...everything u said in the thread was 100. When people are stuck in there ways u can't tell em ****. Everything u said was logical. I'm glad that Floyd don't feel the need 2 soft shoe or boot lick for these clowns. A ***** on here earlier actually said he hopes Mayweather dies tonight...come now. **** em tho
