    People talk about this a lot and it pretty much comes up in every thread about Golovkin and Ward. So i just thought I'd make an actual thread for it. Personally I don't think he is " ducking" Ward I just think he wants to unify middleweight unless there's a big money fight. What do you guys think?

    Golovkin is clearly a bigger draw, yet K-2 offered a 50/50 money split and 50/50 weight split. That is pretty generous considering GGG is clearly the A side money wise. That is a strange way to duck if you ask me. Ward offered 168. Neither guy ducked, really. They simply couldn't come to terms.

    Pretty much this, they need to find a balance on weight, compensation, testing and venue.

    if lara is fighting someone who is above him in stature then ya hes making less....thats the point.....ward makes more because his standing in the boxing communinity is higher than gggs....regardless of ticket sales or how many people are watching....ward is still more respected and touted....thats why he makes more money.....if rodriguez were more than lara then hed make more money in the fight....yer stupid

    who cares? whatever the promoter is willing to do....it should tell ya alot about what their fighters stature is in the game....if they are willing to go to that length and he can command that money....what is to you what the promoter makes or loses? the promoter is willing to pay it because they see ward as worth the investment.........because hes legit and has credibility in the game.....meanwhile ggg keeps fighting c/b level guys

    whats yer point man....a promoter is willing to pay ward 2 mil? i dont care if 5 people show up and and 3 people watch on BET....does not matter....a promoter sees a value in it...and ward still makes more than ggg did....doesnt matter if ward gets ktfo and 2 people watched it.......he still has a higher value, apparently, than ggg

    dont be mad at me.....i didnt pay ward...i didnt pay ggg.....
