Body shots, hard to imagine them having the same effect on a guy weighing well over 180 on fight night though

Couldn't Ward fight in close range. He has the defense to block most of Golovkins shots and the chin to take whatever gets through. He also is very accurate and is good at getting in he right position to land his shots. His jab would also Greatly trouble Golovkin.

Andre too thick and strong to get truly bothered by GGG's body punching?

I'm really no sure how well Golovkins power moves up. One of the reasons he shouldn't fight Ward in his first fight at 168 imo.

Good point. Maybe someone a touch feather fisted, but experienced and decent at 168.
Like Danny did with Pauly at 147. Any opinions on who GGGs Pauly would be at '68?

I'm not really that acquainted with 168. I just looked at Rings ratings and everyone seems to have decent ko ratios.

That being said I believe Murray's last 2 fights have been above super middleweight so that might be a measuring stick.

I see. Well I suppose it's a moot point for now. I guess it will probably be Lemuiex, pick up the vacated WBC out of a garbage bin, then Andy Lee, and then finally Canelo. Pretty much best case scenario for him at the moment anyway. Oh, and absolutely NO LOSING. That would throw a big twist into things.

What if Canelo loses to Cotto? that'd suck for GGG.

All the juice Ward had in this sport is all but gone. From belle of the ball to a wall flower.
