    An interesting perspective.
Although Douglas was 231 lbs. for that fight, people do not usually escribe Tyson's failure as one of tactics, which must have played a strong part.

Well, Don King sang the Puerto Rican national anthem! LOL
I was writing a nice note but accidentally deleted most so this is the condensed version.

My grandpa kept telling me "The Mexican got robbed" on the way to our car which at that age I thought robberies were carried with guns in banks so i didn't know what he meant. I thought he had gone bananas, but I needed to stick by him since he knew how to drive our car and I didn't hahaha!

Julio Cesar Chavez Sr and Wilfredo Vazquez Sr (not against each other) were also on the card so unbeknown to me I also saw two other all-time greats fight in person.

I was hoping to see Alexis Arguello who had vacated the WBC Lightweight belt, be there to handle the belt to the winner so I could see him in person even if from afar. it wasnt meant to be and i never saw him in person.

It was an exciting fight that even featured a crowd fight between a Mexican lady and a Puerto Rican one. They were both escorted out of the coliseum. The crowd was very excited, and I enjoyed it. I didnt know how to score a fight, however; only how knockouts were achieved. So, when they said Chapo won, I supposed he had indeed been the best of the two. Now that I see it on YouTube, I can't separate them. I have it at 114-114 these days. :)

Thanks 4 asking me to tell ya bout it!

What a great memory. The fight itself would seem almost beside the point.

I had that fight something like 114-113 for Ramirez, though too close to be fairly called a robbery. Excellent fight.

It was that close! It was a fight without much separation. Trinidad-De La Hoya is another! I swing 115-113 DLH in that one but there really isn't clear separation there either!

In a 'just trying to stay in shape' type of a bout, world middleweight champ Nino Benvenuti gets his arse handed to him and is stopped in 8 by 9-5-1 opponent Tom Bethea.

I saw Vinny Pazienza get a decision against a 44 year old Roberto Duran in a fight that I couldn't give him a round. He got carved up, knocked on his face.

Yes it did, it's widely believed to have been a tank job by Willie.

    Horn and Ugas over Pacquiao
    McBride and Williams over Tyson
Most of Roy Jones' losses in the latter part of his career, same for Ray Robinson. Losing to Pender just showed what a shell of his former self he had become.

I saw it on you tube and let me tell you, it doesn't smell fishy at all when you see it.

    It smells like a shark.
