    Nothing to do with you. I saw the Thread, who's jabs better Quartey or Calzaghe. Stupid question IMO. Not saying Calzaghe had a poor jab.

    This is another thread from Popkins where his hate for Calzaghe is apparent.
    No doubt this thread has moved in all different directions but still, in answer to the post -

    Quartey and Calzaghe both had very good jabs but used in different ways for different attacks.

    Quartey used the jab as a solid shot designed to cause damage and knock fighters heads back, and was part of his main offence.

    Calzaghe tended to use more double jabs in order to line up follow up attacks and to use as a range finder rather than as a solid head jarring shot

    Both good jabs used in different ways, but Quartey would be more recognised for using the jab as it was part of his offence rather than for range finding

    :-( Yes, my hatred was laid bare when I said Calzaghe is better in many areas than Quartey, but jab certainly isn't one of them.

    Despite that being an opinion shared by the overwhelming majority of Calzaghe fans, it is no doubt still proof of extreme hatred from myself.
