The JAB that DESTROYED Mike Tyson’s corpse!

 

Tyson was so past it at this point not even the same fighter. You could see flashes of his former self here and there but thats all, drugs and women had him ruined by this point and his mind just wasnt on boxing at all.

 

James Buster Douglas jab destroyed Mike Tyson too. Oh I forgot, Tyson was passed his prime at 23, Lol. But I also forgot, Mike was going to turn cannibal on Lennox Lewis unborn offspring.

 

Yeah, I remember Tyson loons picking him to win the Lewis fight. Granted he was definitely past it though but the way they throw out the Douglas fight is laughable. So Holmes and Spinks were prime for him and absolutely show he’s the best ever Buster doesn’t count? Lol.

 

Douglas would have been a huge problem whether Tyson had been in the best shape of his career or not. He took the blueprints of all the guys who gave Tyson trouble and put them all together. Even an unmotivated heroin addict like Pinklon Thomas was busting Tyson up with his jab before he was stopped.

Tyson gets a trillion excuses because he fired his own trainer and slacked off, but all the issues his opponents had are often overlooked completely. I think losing your mom a couple weeks before the biggest fight of your career is far more devastating than partying before a fight. The difference was Douglas used his crappy situation as fuel for motivation. It would have been completely understandable if Douglas just couldn't manage to do his best in that situation.

Douglas size cannot be used as an excuse when Tyson beat guys like Smith, Tucker, Bruno, Williams, etc.

Of course Douglas wasn't on Tyson's level. Yet he won because he wanted it more and was in an even worse situation than Tyson before the fight after losing his mom.

 

Was he? Or was he more dedicated. Douglas at his best had the ability to be considered an ATG.
If Douglas had the dedication to his craft as Holyfield, we'd be arguing over where he fits in the top ten boxers in heavyweight history. He had the tools, and the skills.
Lewis is an ATG, but he never demonstrated the natural skills of Douglas at his best.

 

That nite in Japan Douglas would have been a problem for any heavyweight!!!!! Just think if Buster had Haglers desire and motivation and determination!!!

 

I was getting ready to post this. They only made the fight because of Tyson's name everyone knee he really didn't have a chance.
