Pre-Sanders/ Post-Sanders, Klitschko dominates him. WK is one of the few boxers in any weight division that I think would actually stop Toney. Even Toney couldn't stay away from the Ukrainian's jab.

Toney would have to REALLY get inside on Wlad and take away his jab and reach. If Toney can't find a way around ANY version of Wlad's jab, Wlad stops him late. If Toney gets inside and uses his natural technical skills to nullify Wlad's offense, I see him winning a decision. Its hard for me to picture a guy 5'9 outboxing someone who's 6'6.

Wladimir by late TKO. Holyfield was ****ing past it. I dont care how good Toney was. Wlad hits harder than anyone he has ever fought and would have blasted him. Wlad is too tall, too fast, too strong, too skilled, and too athletic for any version of Toney.

Toney would be dominated and stopped. If he survived 12 rounds it would be after multiple KD's and he would lose by a lopsided UD.

Toney was super-fast in the Holy fight and full of cinfidence. Wlad is too slow, Toney will get round the hab and inside constantly, if not he will go back to the ropes and force Wlad to be the aggresor.

That Toney stops Wlad in the 8th.

The Toney that fought Holyfield was fast, agile, had great timing and balance and was very, very elusive. He was simply not very far away from being at his best. He'd have had a very reasonable chance at beating Wlad.

I see two possibilities how this fight might've turned out:

scenario 1: Toney has a difficult time getting past Wlads jab, he does have his moments where he gets close enough to Wlad and owns him on the inside, but Wlad keeps his composure and jabs n' holds his way to a boring points win. Wlad takes full advantage of his physical advantages here. Toney getting stopped is unlikely tho, he avoids most of Wlads power punches and his granite chin keeps up. While Wlad technically does have enough fire-power to KO (or rather TKO) Toney, he will be hesitant and won't let his hands go enough to try and stop him. Wlad UD.

scenario2: Toney does get past Wlads jab. After all, if any HW could do that, then it gotta be Toney. Toney then punishes Wlad on the inside - Toney probably has the best infight skills in the game while Wlad is absolutely clueless at infighting. Wlads physique will hinder him more than help him here. I can see Wlad getting frustrated very soon (like he got against Brock or Thompson), but his power won't bail him out in this one - to land one big right hand might have worked against others, but it simply won't do the trick against Toney, who is very difficult to hit cleanly and who has one of the very best chins in the division. I can see Toney owning a frustrated and tired Wlad, punishing him with body shots and left hooks and right hands right on the chin. Toney by wide UD. A stoppage win is not even impossible.

Unfortunately, we'll never know which of these two scenarios would turn out to be the right one.

BTW, those who say that Wlad would do the same to Toney that he did to Chris Byrd have no clue. Toney, like Byrd, is a small, defensive fighter without too much power, but the similarities stop there. Toney has a fundamentally different style than Byrd, and he's much smarter in the ring.

The Roy Jones that defeated Ruiz could've probably KO'd the wlad that lost to colonel Sanders.

Just because totally unimaginative fighters with questionable desire like Igbragomov and Chagaev couldn't deal with Wlad's jab, that doesn't mean it's an impossible task. The Toney that beat Holyfield had the skill and the balls to give Wlad a serious challenge. Wlad looks great as long as everything is going his way, but take him out of his comfort zone, make him miss, , back him up a bit, he gets confused .
Of course all thats easier said than done, but Toney possibly could have done it if he had the chance.

    Klitschko TKO8 Toney.

How on earth little Toney wants to land a flush shot vs. Klitschko. Nearly a missmatch. Boxing talent alone isn´t enough to beat Klitschko.
