EVen if he is so arrogant i would like Jean to win. But to me, he is one of the clearest case of an overated boxer (especially here in Quebec). The fact that he had a good (not great) amateur career and the style he uses (hands low, taunting a la Roy Jones) made people who doesn't know boxing think that he is a p4p.... Of course, if he comes there and slash Froch in 2 rounds, i'll be the one who doesn't know boxing! :yep

All right. I was expressing my opinion. I'm not a nuthugger. WOn't make a thread about Froch and i don't think he's that good. Just that he will beat Pascal. Let me guess, you are 16 y'o and have Pascal poster in your bedroom?
Im not a nuthugger but saying he is gonna get knocked out and that he is a joke is far from the truth. I would never back Pascal to beat Kessler, Bute or even Taylor but saying he can't beat Froch is ridiculous. Froch isn't better than Pascal! Also, saying that he needs a lesson of humility isn't right. Yeah he talked a lot, so what. He didn't say he was the GOAT, he just said he could beat Miranda which i believe he can and thats not a bad thing to have confidence in yourself (altought sometimes for people in Québec its considered a bad thing).
Where did i say he was a joke? I THINK he won't win. This is an opinion. I don't find it that ridiculous (and i hope he wins) I think Froch has more power and a better chin. Pascal is a bit faster but (like Froch) his shots are WIDE. Both have suspicious defense. So at the end, in this particular fight, best chin wins. Never said that but yes he may need one. Yeah i heard that **** before. You dont have the right to be impartial here.
Having confidence in yourself is a good thing. Overconfidence is bad, because if you don't know yourself truly in the ring, you become your worst enemy. Jean has a history of overconfidence, and that stopped his progession. When you think you're already the best in the world, you're not working as hard as you could. That's the key for the fight. Is Jean knowing himself accurately now? If the answer is yes, he will win against Froch. If not, he will lose. Froch's assets fit with his big mouth. He hits hard and has a good chin. He won't change his style. Pascal has to change his style and stop thinking he will kick everybody's ass. He has to rely on his skills, not his power. I want him to win and will be very nervous on the dayfight. That's why boxing is my sport.
