  1. Jeff, I would be interested in seeing you fight against Steven 'Tiger' Matthews.

Hi chaps, confirmed I will return on the 4th March in Colne on a Steve Wood show. First pro fight in close to five years. Been training like an absolute trojan/ warrior. I have to meet with the board on the 12th Feb but can't see there being any probs.

Wednesday I went for my brain scan and medical. Basically what happens is you sit down and the doctor goes through a BBBC questionnaire. Basic stuff really- usual quesitions. Once thats done he checks your heart, lungs, ears and for hernia's. My eyes were checked by an optitian... 20/20 both eyes. Once thats done they check you've had your hep b jabs.

Following that I had my brain scanned in an MRI unit. The MRI unit looks like a big spaceship. You lie on a table and they insert sponges into your ears and then put a cage around your head. You are moved into the machine which is hollow. You then lie there for 15-20 mins listening to various drumming noises until the scan is completed.

I'm sure they were taking the **** and I could here'like a shooting star' and some Cascada being played.

Once this is done I saw my own brain on a picture. It was suprisingly big- I was pretty impressed. I also saw my eyeballs from the back and some other weird ****- not sure if it was meant to be there but apparently all is ok.

I then had to **** in an optic- this was taking by a very keen nurse; but I did manage to look a complete tit by getting locked in the toilet. Finally the worse part....****ING INJECTIONS.

I pass out at there mere sight of a needle and because I was dehydrated I had to be stabbed three times. ****ing horrible. I did well but felt a bit dizzy- but I just clinched until my head cleared.

Finally spoke to Kev and Steve Wood today and its all good in the hood. 4th of march the long road to my first professional title begins. I have taken this moment to reset my record to 0-0.

New start, new me. I'll keep you informed. Anything you want to know please ask.

See 2:05 Bernard Hopkins training secret:
    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULYc80ml7Sc[/ame]

The only reason Hopkins had fast enough speed of punch to survive Calzaghe, Hopkins spends much time off camera using extension bands, they are his secret method.

See what the ultimate training tool can do for you.

:rofl Holding on waiting for that bell. Couple of cheeky looks at the clock.

Congratulations on getting a fight and everything seemingly going well. It's pretty interesting hearing all this behind the scenes stuff. Appreciate the updates. :cheers

This all seems rather pointless, given Jeff Thomas has a chin of wet tissue paper.
