Soliman is an example of a fighter that is limited and twenty years ago would be an easy defence for any champion of true world class

I think he'll beat Soliman, but then he should retire or else risk further truly permanent brain damage which he probably already has.

Its weird the tone he has here. "Blessed" "so happy"....Dont you have an attempted murder charge over your head?

Is Taylor still a 5 round fighter?

I'm not even convinced he beats Soliman at this stage. Jermaine's slipped a lot IMO whereas Soliman still seems close to prime and his slippery unorthodox style and high workrate could well give Taylor real problems.

That said I don't particularly have a horse in this race, though I think it could be an interesting fight. I'm more intrigued by what's gonna happen after.

I'd kinda assumed we might be looking at the Taylor - Soliman winner fighting the winner of a Quillin - Jacobs matchup, but with no signs yet of that fight being made and N'Dam N'Jikam now (apparently) next in line for a title shot things have opened up a little. Hopefully after some of these fights clear things up a bit we'll end up with fairly legitimate IBF champ.

Soliman is probably close to career best form at 40. Hard to know where Taylor is at. Peak Taylor wins every day of the week. But that isn't the version Soliman will face.

Heard that Jermain Taylor put out that he will not lose to another white boy! .... if so, what a dumb thing to say, to many knocks to the head!

I'm putting my money on Taylor being on the receiving end of another highlight-reel KO loss. Dude NEEDS to get out of boxing.
