Solid performance from Watt last night. I think he's the best boxing commentator on British TV by a country mile. His voice isn't everyone's bag, but he is knowledgeable and usually spot on. On the Khan fouling I thought he spoke sense. The referee warned him, he ignored him, he got penalised. Twice.

The second point deduction was legit, as he was doing an excessive amount of holding imo. The first wasn't, but the KD wasn't legit so that kind of evens things up imo.

Why does everyone lick Macklin's arse?

Hes paid to be a commentator and doesnt ****ing speak.....how can a guy be good if hes barely uttered a word all fight?

Happened in the Barker/Martinez fight too, wtf.

Very good from Jim Watt yesterday. After the initial nuthuggin stopped from the 1st round, he called it well. And to my recollection, he only used his catchphrase once in the fight... "Bang on the channn".

Sat and watched the fight for the first time half an hour ago and also was siting thinking that Watt had it spot on. Probably scored the fight near eneough identical to him and he seen the warning signs early doors.

i agreed with watts scorecard, right up until the last 3 rounds. i had khan winning the last. but regardless, he was much better last night than usual.

  13. I've watched the US version, Lampley needs to be sacked.

It's always the company man he's cheering for, and constantly mentioning Compubox is embarrassing. Just call the fight as you see it FFS.

Both Watt and MM were excellent, although Watt at the start was talking pure **** until rd3 kicked in and he was brought back to reality. As for the other douchebag,he should be sacked for being an incompetent fool and pure Khan ball bag sucker.

Didnt see it fella. For interest sake, how did the score the fight and what was made of the refs performance?I for one thought he was spot on and Khan was like a rabbit in the headlights when Peterson was up close.
