I am impressed by him, and regret that I have ignored the divisions below Bantam for way to long!

Very frustrating fighter at times. A sniper who waited around too much, which made some fights much closer than they should’ve been.

Very fluid when at his best, an excellent counter puncher and as you’d expect from a Japanese fighter a bit of a mentalist when he had someone hurt, though unlike some he remained accurate when he had someone flailing.

No.2 on my super fly list. Could easily be like...no.5 though. Tough to rank the cluster below Roman.

An absolutely legit lineal champ as well, robbed of his chance to unify against Poontarat by politics. He arguably lost the first one, at least in my book, but did a job on the Thai second time round.

Khaosai’s title claim is a complete joke because of this. The title should have stayed with Watanabe.

Also, he was a Yakuza badass.

Absolute gangster fighter (literally). Has some of the best foot movement I've ever seen on a southpaw. I think this, the fact that's he's right handed and his Karate background all contributed. He could beat nearly anyone at Super Fly IMO.
