Clearly not Calzaghe, or he wouldn't have put him against Hopkins.

Haye was a moment of madness...utter madness...

    Rhees was...a mandatory...

Derry...well...Derry was supposed to use his height...instead, Flash suckerpunched him, laughing off his ineffective jabs and crosses...

    Lockett...it is his entire stable.

Choi has been around the British scene for a while and Matthews struggled with Simpson. Warren knew what he was doing. I am extremely curious to what his motives are. I bet everything revolves around Joe Calzaghe.

Nonsense about his chin. Gomez stopped him....4 years ago. That was immaturity on Arthurs part. He got far too clouded in his judgement, threw the gameplan out the window and got into a brawl...which he lost.

Foster caught him on the temple with a glancing blow. Sent him over, but he was up quickly and wasn't hurt. Just lost his balance due to the shot on the temple.

Arthur has taken a lot of shots of various people clean, and still been on his feet. A whole host of boxers have been down at some point...doesn't mean they have a weak chin necessarily.

As for stamina Decebel, it was more a general malaise against Foster. Arthur started very slowly and generally didn't seem on top form for one reason or another. Not too sure, but he let the first few rounds go. He recovered enough, and won quite comfortably in the end, but he made the fight harder than it had to be.

If he repeats that against Guzman, he has no chance. But, I fully expect a different animal.

Being caught at domestic level like he has been, more than once, suggest he is there to be knocked out. Whether it is down to a bad chin, bad concentration, reflexes or defence the fact remains he is tehre to be stopped.

I'm certainly not saying he has a granite chin...but it has been well tested above domestic level. Yes he was stopped by Gomez...but I don't really see that applying too much to now. He has fought 11 times since then, and never looked in danger of being knocked out again.

I mean, Kabrey Salem had Calzaghe down a few years back, but it would be silly to hold that against Joe now would it not?

I've also sort of found a connection for Arthur and Guzman. Arthur fought and easily outpointed Nazareno Ruiz, who has since lost to Jorge Barrios, who lost a SD to Guzman. Therefore it is clear to see....Arthur wins this easy!! hehe. Maybe not

Only problem if his chin is not better than very good, or if it is just very good is that, as he hits Guzman to the body against the ropes, Guzman will pepper his head with hits, which could affect his timing and rhythm or even make him less eager to engage as much, up close...:think

    Did Foster really drop him?

The only thing here that's gay is your lack of love for Joan Guzman.

    :yep

Choi "Flash" Tseveenpurev - what a guy! I haven't seen a more dominant performance in a while. He crushed Derry's spirit and left him a broken wreck, squirming on the canvas...:scaredas:

And what a gentleman when it was all over!:happy :happy :happy

    Oh dear.
Another thread that has turned into how amazing Guzman is, & the funny thing is not one person thinks Guzman has any serious flaws, its all about what Arthur has to do to work out the great Guzman...

Nice intentions Decebal, & I applaud you trying to get some proper debate going. You wont get it though. Trouble is no-one really knows enough about Guzman here. I do of course, but I wouldnt waste my time discussing it. Everyones minds are made up, Guzman is too fast, slick, tough, big punching & good looking to lose to Arthur.

I really wonder if anyone who comes out with this stuff has actually watched Guzman fight. & I really mean that. Guzman is NO finished article. But Guzman has this hold over people, dont ask me why. I have did my homework though, & thats why Im utterly confident Arthur wins this one. Funny thing is, I could school any so called Guzman fan here on their own fighter. I choose not to though, cos Im waiting until Arthur wins, & then I shall reveal all in minute detail. & thats no lie, cos I have studied Guzman, unlike most of the big mouthed Guzman gobshytes on ESB.
I KNOW what Im tlking about.
