Been in the lounge and all the talk in there is that he's asked for his account to be erased.

 

Dunky, I remember AA boxing on a few Calzaghe undercards back in the day and he always brought a good travelling support (the first Arthur fight I saw must have been his 3rd or 4th fight) - did he have a good amateur career, and were big things expected of him from the begining?

 

I remember Arthur was in televised fights early on in his career - I think on sky, and they had high hopes for him. I saw him fight a while back in Cardiff (Braithwaite V Macca) in a very dirty fight, I think he won by late stoppage, he had a few fans there but not masses.

 

Don't compare a modern legend such as Guzman to the more primative fighters of old like Robinson.

 

He had a fine amateur career, but dont ask me about it! No kidding, I hate amateur boxing. I just cant watch it, & have no interest in it. Im sure Arthur won commonwealth gold, but as I say, I only take an interest in pro boxing.
That may shock some hardcore boxing fans, but when I see a fight with headguards, I switch channels. I couldnt tell you anything about the amateurs really, apart from the snippets I read on boxing forums, & even then when I see conversations about amateur boxing, I usually stop reading quick style.

I wonder if anyone else is the same as me on ESB, loves the pro game, hates the amateurs. Just being honest.

 

I don't give a toss about the amateurs. That pitter patter **** they call the amateur style bores me lifeless. It might score points, but that and headguards are gay as ****.

 

Thanks for the info, I just read that hes a close friend of a certain Huki. Im sad to hear hes a friend of a Guzman loving enemy of mine, so hes probably been getting on my back recently here cos I dared badmouth this huki friend of his
I still like him though, & hope he comes back. I love all the underhand **** that goes on here, you cant trust anyone for too long & to think one of my pals was going to upload few Guzman fights next week for everyone to see here on Brit ESB, just so we could have some proper juicy debate. Last thing he accused me of was being a cop-out, little did he know what I had in store.

Oh well, the goalposts move constantly on ESB, but Im sure Decebal will return, & I hope he does.

Is this a joke guys?? Who seriously thinks Arthur has a chance against Guzman. I suggets you type ijn Joan Guzman in the youtube.com search bar. Guzman with leave Arthur on his ass in the middle of the ring.

 

there's not many fighters i dislike but guzman is one of them.hate the way he sometimes showboats and belittles his opponent.however i think this used to cloud my judgement of him as a fighter and i've come to acknowledge he's a real talent.i hope i'm wrong but i can't see arthur beating the guy and although he hasn't carried his punch up in weight i think he will stop arthur between 8 and 12.for all his skills arthur does like to get involved and i think he will leave himself open to guzmans lightning quick flurries and be stopped.
