do people foeget that jermain taylor was 27 and b-hop was 40 joe calzaghe is 36 so theirs no comparism not to mention jermain taylor is stronger than joe with just as good a chin so don't be suprised tonight
the strength/chin comparison is a tricky one. but where the BIG difference is between taylor and joe is experience, stamina, and adaptability. and that will be the key to joe's victory. taylor beat hopkins mainly on his youth despite making many mistakes, especially in their first fight. however i still believe taylor won those fights, but only because hopkins didn't have enough energy levels to fight 12 hard rounds due to being 40 and that middelweight was harder for him to make. while hopkins doesn't have to drain himself anymore, he will still be facing someone with serious skills, adaptability and great stamina. plus a hard chin means hopkins will not be able to rely on a bomb to turn the fight in his favour like he landed against taylor late in their first fight. joe is MUCH more smarter than taylor. but like any fight, if my fighter loses i'll give props to the opponent. who ever wins this fight will be catapulted higher up in the HOF/ATG rankings.
I think the fact that Taylor was so tentative gave Hopkins problems in both fights. He didn't leave many countering opportunities because he didn't throw a whole lot. Hopkins won't have that problem with Calzaghe. He doesn't have to worry about a lack of openings here, but he does have to worry about getting outworked.
i would like to compare your way of spelling "comparism" to the dictionaries way of spelling "comparison" do people use spell check here? also, where are you getting off saying taylor is stronger than joe?
