Its like ive said time and time again people dislike the Oldmans way of winning fights people were against b hop before the fight even started. I fail to see how the video is bias hes merely giving play by play of the fight zooming in replays to see more clearly what was going on. For those of u who think that was Bernard in his prime your either stupid or not on your medication Who the hell is in there prime at 43 lmao now granted bernards able to be successful at this age due to his ring smarts and experience back in late 90s early 2000s he was much more vicious than people think and obviously ppl didnt watch him he stopped 13 opponants in his 20 title defenses mentally bernards still there Physically hes lost a step or two but can still tear it up.

Calzaghe won on workrate. He outpointed Hopkins. It was a terrible performance by both men. The guy who made this video is a clown. On his channel page he links to a video he made of a tribute to his hero Roy Jones.:rofl:dead:dead

He is a disgraceful Rojo who is still reeling from the one-sided clinical beating Calzaghe gave him, so he has made this biased trash. I could easily make a heavily-edited video with biased text interludes to show how Calzaghe won the fight.:deal

**** me, I just realized that Calzaghe "defended" his belt against a tough and rugged Peter Manfredo. :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl Peter Manfredo didn't even belong in Calzaghe's division and he wasn't probably wasn't in the top 50. Manfredo's best "win" up until that fight was a loss against the future ATG Sergio Mora.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

That fight was the biggest farce in boxing of all time.

Thats even worse than Apollo Creed fightight Rocky.

    WOW
    my god
i watched this with my dad and 2 cousins
    we all welsh, supporting calzaghe
    noone thought joe had won

little did we know hbo had jones-calzaghe riding on this fight

had a hbo 24/7 and still did pretty bad ppv numbers

b hop got this **** robbed outta him, coming from a welsh calzaghe fan

just watch part 5, dont even need to see the rest and you will see who will win

dont understand how legitimate light heavy weight champ goes against joe and hbo cant give us a ppv event
but shot to **** jones jr (without his dad at that point was useless and way overtrained as he said he was many times during hbo. again im a huge calzaghe fan but not dumb) gets a ppv fight with calzaghe

    boxing is currupt as shite

put a w on hopkins career against calzaghe and he just goes so much higher in atg rankings

    hbo is ****ing up boxing

:goodTop post man. After Calzaghe, Khan, Hatton, and Haye i've given up on all the fans from Great Britain, but you're not a nuthugger in the least.

I'm a Hopkins fan, but I had Calzaghe winning since I usually judge on activity and Hopkins was almost completely inactive for 9 of the rounds.

hopkins fought calzaghe sandwiched in between 3 of his finest wins (tarver, wright, pavlik) :deal

calzaghe fought on foreign turf :deal

calzaghe fought at light heavy weight for the 1st time :deal

calzaghe fought amidst appallingly bias refereeing from joe cortez :deal

    calzaghe beat bernard hopkins :deal

it was a horrible fight. bernard is a smart cookie, he threw every negative trick in the book to try and nullify calzaghe :deal

even though calzaghe is a slapper, hopkins knew that if he fought an open toe to toe battle, he would of got lacyied :deal

hopkins ducked joe calzaghe in 2002 to fight joe in america for a career high payday of $3m :dead

after this duck, hopkins next 3 fights were against hakkar, joppy and robert allen  :rofl

Wrong again. Manfredo was in The Ring SMW top 10 (one of the belts Calzaghe was defending) and that fight was to garner American interest for a future Hopkins fight

yeah i can see your point

to be honest his hands looked completely ****ed in that fight as they had been for years with break after break

with good hands he probably would have won a wider decision

calzaghe is a great boxer, dont get me wrong

but hopkins just used every trick he could and to me it worked

    round 10

calzaghe had been getting good rhythm up to then

i had first 6 for hopkins, getting closer and closer each round, next 4 to calzaghe but in round 10 hopkins took a huge break, BAM, calzaghe rhythm is ****ed, and b hop won the round, only round i had him winning after 6, with the knockdown making the difference

I want to see what the guy who made that video thinks of these fights:

    Alexander/Kotelnik
    Griffin/Toney fights
    Pac/JMM fights
    Taylor/Hopkins fights

Hopkins landed the more effective shots, and dished out more damage. Calzaghe threw more and kept busier, but what did he really do to Hopkins?
