    hit Hopkins more times than he was hit himself. Hopkins was looking for time out against those shots and couldnt walk through them

    This fight was so bad that neither deserved to win it, simply because quality in the action was so sporadic.

    I love these posts:good. BTW how do people see the vids being biased when the guy who made the vids clearly said he thought Calzaghe won rounds & landed some clean punches? Did everyone who posted actually look at the vids?

    Wrong again? What was a wrong about, besides I didn't look at the ratings so I was guessing by saying 50, but Manfredo had no business being on Calzaghe's undercard, let alone fighting Calzaghe.

    Hit him with what? Flurries of open glove slaps on Hopkins arms/gloves? I like both fighters, but Calzaghe looked like a 13yr old down syndrome kid with a tantrum in there.

    Marquez vs Manny would be an interesting one. Id say do Pernell whitakers losses in his prime but everyone pretty much agrees he was robbed on many occasions so not needed lol

    kind of obvious what happened here

    cotto needed to win clottey fight to set up fight with pac man

    same way calzaghe needed to win this fight to set up fight with jones

    aint hard to work out
    and look what happened after, they won very disputed decisions and got their last lucrative fight, whilst hopkins dished out an ass whooping to pavlik and ruined pavlik's hopes of being a ppv beast

    same with with hopkins taylor, pacman marquez

    except taylor got ****ed after both b hop fights

    :lol:My opinion, ya won't kill me for it. I respect your opinion though as both fights like I said earlier are hard on the eyes. There's very few fights I've seen that I dislike and I've seen MANY MANY MANY fights.

    :lol::rofl:patsch

    Hopkins did too much holding. grabbing, hugging, wrestling, faking low blows to win that fight.

    ain't that the truth!!

    if calzaghe and hopkins were both prime, calzaghe would give him a bigger beating.

    good post :good

    i don't agree with you on calzaghe's prime though.his prime was before the lacy fight.it was a great performance by joe that night, but he wasn't in his prime any more.
