lets be honest, Calzaghe's physical advantages were not huge seeing as he had little power, no punch technique and his hand speed and general agility had slowed. Add to the fact he was more flat footed at the weight than at supermiddle.

One last thing to the gentleman talking about my display picture. Develop a sense of humor associating pro wrestling with mma? lmao okay then.

He did have punch power i believe he had fragile hands because he use to load up a hell of alot more earlier in his career, but you look at some of his victims like Lacy , Kessler, jones they didnt look to clever after the fight, maybe accumilation but im sure he used to drop a few heavy shots in as well.:good

  7. It was probably the closest big fight in the last 20 years where you could make a case for either fighter winning, a tough one to judge, most experts I've heard seem to have backed Calzaghe's victory.

yes, thats why b hop had to hire mackie shilstone. duh, in terms of stamina, joe is a freak and b hop knew it. hired a great team, and thought a well worked out gameplan to inflict maximum damage at minimal risk, as any 43 yr old would

I see I ticked you off otherwise you wouldn't have responded to me like that. Joe won in a close fight in a decision that's debated to this day. If he beat him clearly then threads questioning the outcome of this fight wouldn't have been made. Both looked bad but in effectiveness, you got to go with Hops unless you like fighters who fight like washerwomen:lol:.
