The Joe Calzaghe Deception, the night Bernard Hopkins was robbed

These videos are biased rubbish from a Hopkins fan.

There is no mention of aggression, pressure, workrate, speed, movement, defense - the general tatics and performance of BOTH fighters. Only Hopkins' effective punches are highlighted and applauded. There are many clean good shots from Calzaghe that are not acknowledged. The only time the video maker draws attention to Joe's shots is when they are so obivious that he cannot avoid doing so. Even then he is quite sarcastic and disrepectful.

Also at times some of the action is called to be in Hopkins favour, when in fact it clearly favoured Joe.

I thought these videos were going to contain intelligent, objective commentary similar to that of DWYER on YouTube. Sadly we only get garbage from a fanboy.

so you prefer the fighter who hugs the washerwoman all night rather than try and mix it with her? ;)

lol did you really expect people to watch a 1 hour and 20 minute long analysis of a fight that a lot of people found boring?

Mike Tyson: "It was a good fight, I thought Bernard won."

Carl Froch: "Believe it or not Bernard Hopkins isn't that well liked in America, he didn't seem to get the nod with the hometown decision, and uh Calzaghe he won by split decision and um one of the judges had Hopkins win it and I think Hopkins won the fight..."

I'm sure Carl Froch is purely biased right? lol

Associated Press, Yahoo, and ESPN scored the bout 114-113 for Hopkins.

Anyone who watches the videos clearly hears Enzo Calzaghe tell Joe that he needed a knockout in the final round because he felt his son was getting beat. People posting in the thread aren't even watching these videos, you biased fans already have your mind made up, watch the videos
Heres some more things to **** u calzaghe fans off :)

At least he's not an idiot Calzaghe nuthugger like everyone else from Wales. He judged the fight on a different criteria than I did and had Hopkins winning. Nothing wrong with that.

I watched rounds 1-10 in full and stopped watching during RD 11. My opinion is above.

What Tyson and Froch thought is irrelavent. The video is made to clearly FAVOUR Hopkins.

Enzo told Joe he needed to stop Hopkins as an attempt to pump him up, and encourage him to go all out.

I posted the vid cause the gentleman who made it looked like he put lot of time and work into it and it wasnt bias if it was id of never posted it. He highlights the whole fight even highlights when calzaghe is exchanging and all the parts of the fight when punches are thrown by each man its not just a 10 minute video its a 5 part video he highlighted the whole damn fight so thats weak assumption i happen to know the gentleman who made the video as well hes a Roy Jones jr fan who often in fights favors the man with faster hands. So i fail to see how hes a hopkins nuthugger i guess if your not pro calzaghe your a nuthugger. lol :)

To the OP, i watched about 10 minutes of it and stopped. I realize that are completely biased. I thought maybe i would see a good case for why Hopkins was robbed but it was just a very biased piece in favor of Hopkins. You can do this type of stuff for many fights.

The fact that the entire fight is covered makes it even more shocking. Throughout the whole 12 rounds
    • the video maker refuses to recognise good work from Calzaghe.
    • over emphasises work by Hopkins.
    • refuses to dicuss the pressure and workrate of Calzaghe.
    • applauds Hopkins inside work but does not mention his illegal tactics.
    • Does not mention the performance of Cortez.
The video only discusses punching but I thought the 'sweet-science' of boxing consisted of more than this.

There are some good observations, but the text is clearly disrepectful to Calzaghe. Go and watch DWYER'S videos that's how you give honest and fair analysis.

There is no point watching the video because it's clearly biased.

I watched the fight a few times and i tried to give it to Hopkins but just couldn't find enough rounds to give him. Calzaghe pressed the fight. Hopkins had a great start but he did very little from 2-12.

Forget about what Hopkins didn't do, what did calfaggi do to deserve victory, besides chase after Hopkins with his arms flailing tripping over himself missing most of his "punches"? Do not let your bias against Hopkins cause a bias in favor of calfaggi.

    DRAW.
