You have pm me before and we have spoken, but you know that I post with facts and back them up, yet you are so often trying to rewrite history

just because boxing has so many belts, it shouldn't be a license for you to drown people with misleading "facts"

you've just replied to me 20 minutes ago and said resumes is how a fighter should be rated, not by belts
but here you are again, falling back on belts as your last line of defense

If a fighter wins a belt, how would that be a false fact?

 

you didn't say anything about belts, but as soon as you referred to "facts", I knew that the belts were exactly what you were referring to...

no it wouldn't be a "false fact" (technically)
but you (previously) use any major belt to beef up a fighter's resume to make it look like he's a 'world champion'
you know as well as I do that's a watered down term in boxing, but you use it anyway for any fighter that you choose to defend (previously anyway)

we're suppose to know the difference between genuine world champions and paper ones, and post so that new fans of the sport can understand what the difference is - not use belts as an ego-driven last line of defense in a discussion we are over-invested in

I have no interest any more in Roy Jones and no interest in Antonio Tarver. Jones is washed up and Tarver was never that good anyway, he just caught Jones when Jones was shot and Johnson did the same.
