    Sure, but there's an area between being way too lax and putting in optimal effort. I'm not saying he was in bad shape, he never looked it, but perhaps more doing just enough, going through the motions a bit.

    Would be interesting to know from where Tyson got that Louis started to wind down in training. Could very well be Cus. Ot anyone just was his own take.

    Yes a source would be interesting. Tyson would have certainly spoke to a number of insiders given his interest in Heavyweight history.

    Someone posted that series here not long ago. But, yeah, where Tyson got it from I do not know.

    His exact words were that Louis lost interest. My guess is that he got that from Cus, but have nothing to verify that with.
