lol It is irresponsible to let Joe Joyce fight any top 10 of today, let alone ****ing Joe Louis... the guy is gonna get seriously hurt if he keeps fighting;..

Louis sends Chisora and Joyce to intensive care on the same night.

That Joe Joyce is considered a top 10-15 heavyweight
today is a great indication of how far boxing, especially
    heavyweight boxing has fallen.
If Joe Louis is in top form, he cuts Joyce in half
    with in 7-8 rds. Max.
Imagine Louis, probably the deadliest counter puncher in
heavyweight history, when considering all factors of the
art of counterpunching like intuition, instinct, speed, punch
    creativity
and power with the many countering opportunities against
a very slow fisted boxer , who also telegraph his
punches? Also slow feet, so unlike Conn he wouldn't be able
to outmaneuver Louis for any period of time.
It amount to shooting ducks in a barrel, Joyce would get
    crucified against prime Joe Louis.

Say what you will about Wepner, but he looked better
more polished in a boxing ring than Joyce does .
He also faced 3 of the greatest heavyweights in
history, and a lot of good ones.
Joyce's record wouldn't be much better if he
faced Wepner's competition , probably worse....

And vice versa. I would frankly be very surprised if Wepner stopped Dubois and Parker.

The simple fact is that there are many quite average fighters who made the top 10 at some point. Nothing new.

I’m not sure he is actually .

I doubt I’ve seen a slower handed and footed lummox who reached world standard than big Joe Joyce.

And that hurts me to say because he’s such a lovely bloke. His heart and chin are solid but his skills are almost non existent.

He is even slower, but also much bigger wiith better stamina and more cut resistance.

I just don't see Wepner beating Dubois and Parker.

And that goes for many others who some time made the top 10. Fick, Brian London was in and out for almost a decade and got two shots in the undisputed title. Cobb, Marvis Frazier, Seldon etc, etc.

There have never been any good ol' times in this regard

Yeah I tend to agree the more I see of Joyce. I can't help but see a part 2 of Louis destruction of Carnera. Even if Louis came in at 197 pounds as he did for Carnera
