The Joseph Parker vs H Fury prediction thread

Fury UD. I don't think Fury can hurt Parker but I don't think Parker will cut the ring well enough to deal with Hughie's movement and skill.

 

Parker by knockout or TKO.

Parker needs to cut the ring off well and be prepared to walk through some shots to stop Fury. If he just walks after him I can see him losing a decision. Saying that, I'm picking Parker but not with confidence 60/40 fight

 

I used to think Parker performed better against larger taller fighters, but after his last fight I've changed my mind, I believe that fury will ud him but I hope I'm wrong, would like to see Parker keep the belt he's the most active heavyweight and I don't think he would duck any fight, true fighter mentality, needs to leave his trainer though to improve himself.

 

Tough fight to call, I can see an argument for both men winning.

Parker so far looks to have a weakness when forced back, he can't fight effectively on the back foot but Hughie won't pressure him he'll move and box and that will allow Parker to shine and fight his kind of fight.

But Hughie could win this fight with his jab and movement alone, Parker hasn't fought anyone as mobile or who boxes as well from range. Parker's combinations could very well become nonexistent against such a mobile target who doesn't allow him to set to throw in bunches.

Neither counter punches much, both prefer to get off first and with Parker's edge in speed that could be a big advantage. But Parker's jab is a pathetic, he needs to throw it with authority and step into it, he needs to be aggressive and force the fight if he's to win, throwing a nothing jab to set up the follow up combo won't work with Fury cause he'll be gone before Parker can follow up the jab.

I'm slightly favouring Fury to win a decision. He'll come through some rough moments but Parker will run out of ideas and lose a decision. Hopefully that will be the catalyst to get a better trainer because he needs it.

I hope I'm wrong though and Parker shows me something more and KO's Fury. I'll be rooting for Parker in this one.

 

I think its gonna be a really boring fest but i hope Parker wins, at least he have cojones!!

 

I predict Hughie will pull out of the fight.

 

This will be like Dimitrenko. Big KO for Parker

 

I wouldn't take too much stock in that last fight as that guy came to last the distance and was hopelessly out boxed..

I imagine Fury will come to win so he will have to fight back...
