I think he's very good but I think wilder can beat him and parker could be very tough

beating wlad was big time I'd like to see him unify before I crown him just yet

Nope. Let him reign for 6-7 more years and fight top guys not coming off almost two year layoffs and under the age of 40 first  Then we’ll talk if he’s great or not. And I doubt he’ll pull that off. Too much up coming talent on its way.

Still a long way to becoming an ATG. I voted 3 although I still think it's better than 50/50 for him.

Depends on his next couple of fights. If he beats Wilder and Parker and becomes the undisputed within the next 12-18 months, then the answer is the 2nd one.

    Here are Joshua's title fights

Beats Charles Martin for the IBF title. Most think Martin is a garden variety big man.

1st title defense against Dominic Breazeale, a limited overweight fringe contenders type, and it took longer than expected.

2nd title defense vs Eric Molina. Another weak title defense. At least this one ended sooner, thought Molina did not belong in that ring as he already had been KO'd three times prior.

3rd title defense. Defeated Wlad Klitschko in a great fight. However Wlad was 41, and out of the ring 1.5 years. Had Wlad been 4-5 years younger, he wins this one.

4th title defense. Beat Takam, another non-top ten title defense opponents, and took him 10 rounds in a right that was stopped too early.

Okay--Outside of beating Wlad, whom Fury had an easier time with, there's not much here.

If Johsua wants a legacy, fight Povetkin next before he's 39 than Paker and Wilder. Though none of these three would be great wins, they would at least mean something.

Well, he's already the number one heavyweight on the planet, so in that respect he's already lived up to it.

If you mean has he done enough to cement his status as the next Wlad, Lennox, Holmes etc, then the answer is no, not yet. That'll take time and require him to attain a level of longevity and consistency in performance which no one can tell if he's capable of achieving yet. He might be a flash in the pan. He might come unstuck against a certain style of opponent. He might go off the rails for whatever reason.

He's clearly a hard worker and has all the talent to remain dominant, but that alone is not enough. I don't like his recent weight gain, and I'm a little concerned that he's relying too much on his physique at present. Nor do I like the marketing pressure behind him which will push him in a direction that's not necessarily beneficial to his long term development, and which could lead to him being overprotected or mismatched.

Wlad was extremely popular, but he did things his own way, and controlled every aspect of his ring career himself. Joshua is more of a puppet, and while he's currently on top he'll need to start trying to break away from the PR machine and work towards his own best interests. I'm not sure how able or willing to do that he is, however. Things seems so rosy for him, and why change a winning formula?

Last night Joshua looked an over muscled stiff idiot, much like Bruno was, and ripe for a KO. Takam is a fringe man, skilled and solid fighter unlike Charles Martin, but nothing more. I honestly doubt Joshua would beat 95 Oliver McCall, and McCall was no great shakes, which makes me think Joshua is more a fraud than real deal. Calling him the number one on the planet is a joke. Who has he fought? A life and death with a 41 y/o? Who else?

Martin and Molina are clearly weak fights, and Breazeale isn't much to shout about either, but any version of Klitschko is a great win, and Takam is a quality scalp even though the fight ended controversially. It's still early days, but he's well on the way to building a solid resume.

I think you're being way too harsh though. If Povetkin, Parker and Wilder aren't great wins who is?

I genuinely like Parker, so when AJ gets in the ring with him, oh man, it's going to be like watching a pit bull destroy your favourite Guinea Pig.

Then he can probably go on to beat Wilder on the same night.

We are already witness greatness, you all know it deep down, so I don't know why everyone is playing it all coy.

We are already living in the age of AJ. He is the future and the PRESENT! And like it or not he is already the face of boxing in the public eye.
