It's not that bad, but the champions are not fighting good opposition. So we get so many mismatches, it's pathetic. There needs to be a tournament or something to weed out all the junk at JW.

There are plenty of potentially great fights they just need to put them together. Martinez recently beat Cintron twice on the same night.

JMW will be very strong in a few years. Lots and lots of young kids with potential there.

Of course Spinks got another shot at the belt. He was robbed against Phillips, and he was immediately named the mandatory, which was the right move.

like 140, 154 is littered with prospects........

Joe Greene, DeAndre Lattimore, Sechew Powell, Alfredo Angulo, James Kirkland, Yuri Foreman (unfortunately), Chavez Jr, Vanes, King Rosado (young kid been competitive and scoring upsets the last 2 years) Thompson (has a comeback fight coming up soon... young enough to build himself back up to make a run), AA's brother, now Yorgey....

If anything, I think the fringe contenders in this division are good... Some good enough to make a run at the top 10 or 15.... Tsurkan, Gutierrez, Albert, Ishe, Brewer, K9, Bunema, Eduoard...

Not too bad of a division... Just doesn't look all that good on the top.... Sergio Martinez has a chance to become the face of that division....
