When Kahn came out in the 11th round he wanted to touch gloves with Maidana. What do you guys think about that? I think it's like saying: "Lets not punch each other in the face this round. Can't we all just get along." Your thoughts?
I thought it was stupid of Amir to do. Maidana probably knew the only way for him to win was by KO. Extending his glove out when it was unnecessary gave an opening for a cheap shot.
The touching of the gloves is a show of respect. Pac does it even when he's destroying his opponent. Khan likely wanted to touch gloves because it was like, hey, you ****ing gotten me good. Let's get it on! We're doing this for the fans!
I think Khan for a split second (wishfully) thought it was the 12th round...I was watching it on a dodgy internet stream and for a second he had me fooled as I squinted and tried reading what the number read. xD
no he was shocked, khan was winning up until that point, so his mind was going "holy ****" while maidanas was going "hurry the **** up and ring the bell i need to get at this guy before he recovers"
Personally i think Khan thought it was round 12 i think he was in a daze still and was all over place mentally.
