Sumbu Kalamby/Herol Graham I and II

Mike McCallum Vs Sumbu Kalamby I and II

Herol Graham vs Mike McCallum I

I'm very curious how the members of classic scored all of these. Any and all scorecards welcome.

28 views and not one response. That's some kind of record. :-(

I remember the fights but its too long ago to remember how i would have scored them.McCallum was clearly a winner against Graham but i seem to remember Graham although he looked out of sorts a bit being a little unlucky against Kalamby.

These guys were like a modern muderer's row, all of them were high risk fighters.

i remember watching the Kalambay Graham fights in the day. From memory they were pretty untidy affairs, clash of styles.

Got a McCallum vs Kalambay I scorecard, I'll dig it out today at some point.

And I have Graham vs Kalambay I & II on DVD and might watch them this week and report back.

Graham was soundly beaten in the first Kalambay fight, in a huge upset.

McCallum was beaten pretty easily as well in his first Kalambay fight, in another big upset.

Graham was damn unlucky against McCallum, but I guess his party tricks cost him a draw.

McCallum rightly got the nod in his rematch with Kalambay, but Graham was jobbed in his adventure to Italy, as Bomber lived up to his nickname and made Kalambay look like a fossil.

I thought McCallum-Kalambay 1 was allot closer than most, I rated McCallum's bodywork especially. Graham-McCallum was ultra close and thought Graham deserved the Kalambay rematch

    All underrated greats, especially Graham/Kalambay

So the near consenus is that Graham deserved the nod in the second Kalamby bout?
