I like Katsidis, was crushed when he lost to casa. and i would love to see him rule 135.... but even if he doesnt, which my head says its a tall order at this point, im a fan anyways, love his attitude, style, heart, ect....

I like Katsidis. Obviously he'll probably never be the best lightweight out there but he's still a really good fighter with the heart of a lion. He's still improving - his defence looked a lot better in the Escobedo fight. The only really weak point for him is that he's a brawler without a lot of power. Which is weird because it looks like his punches have plenty of steam behind them.
Kirk's views pretty much sums up my sentiments. I'll almost always be a fan of a fighter who's temperament is to tenaciously attack even when hurt. Katsidis is the epitome of what an action fighter is.
i love katsidis but the thing that wil never ever make him big or make him the top person at 135 is the fact he cuts way way way to easily....i think he cutseasier then anyone atm in boxing a simple rub on the forhead makes him cut
Katsidis rules!! Have all the time in the world for him. I really REALLY want him to fight Kevin Mitchell, because i think Wembley Arena will be packed to the max, and i think Katsidis will just blow him away eventually, mind you a great contest for however long it lasts, as Mitchell is no pushover. (no disrespect to the British fans). Fighters develop in my opinion, and while not saying something completely stooopid like katsidis will turn into a 'stylistic boxer' i do think he has developed greatly since his loss to Casamayor. His defence is smarter while STILL maintaining 12 rounds of aggression. Key PROS to kats as a fighter 1) 12 rounds of constant and relentless pressure. and boy to we mean CONSTANT. so evident against Vincente Escobedo. Sure he may not have 'snap' power of pacquaio, but 100% is relentless for the FULL 12. 2) good chin. if you have watched all his fights (not highlights) you will notice he can take a bang, no problem. probably not good for his health, but meh, im not the one getting hit lol I rub out his match against Diaz simply for the fact that he broke his hand firstly, and secondly it was a rubbish fight in terms of his tactics. He had just lost to CAsa, and was too over cautious. NOT his game. Fighters always lose. Pacquaio lost 3 times earlier on, and while Kats is no pacman, point is, everyone loses. most times it makes them better fighters. Definitely in KAts' case.
love katsidis but he will never EVER do well against a great oponenet...not because of his talent but as mentioned earlier he cuts way to easily due to his facial structure
