yEA IT SUCKS... But Cmon evryone has to admit. Pavs last fight he looked far removed from the world class level he was once reigning strong... He has some work to put in,so keep pushing his ass to keep fighting... FREQUENTLY... At least every 3 months

He was not looking as strong as he could be and not nearly as hungry. Kelly had a mean hunger. He had power in both hands , ability to cut off the ring, great inside game, and a mean jab... The overhand right..well??

I honestly don't get your "not hungry" theory. He looked very calm and deliberate to me. He also avoided some of the typical mistakes he used to make. I'll take maturity over hunger anytime.

As far as looking strong, did you know that was KP's highest weight ever, or that Lopez has fought as high as 184 pounds? One of Lopez's main sparring partners is cruiserweight Felix Cora! The point is, Kelly was in the ring with a big strong light heavyweight who only recently managed to boil down to 168.

You can't question Kelly's 'hunger, figuratively or literally, for the Martinez fight. He did a monumental job draining so he wouldn't lose his title on the scale.

Kelly looked solid in his last fight. He put in some hard rounds against a tough young undefeated fighter. That's exactly what he needed. He might need one more tune-up and then he;ll be ready to jump back in the deep waters again.
