The Kelly Pavlik Come Back Express: Who's on board?

Don't feel attacked when people only ask a question. I've never bitched on Pavlik's back. I've always been respectful of the man.

Between August the 20th and November the 5th, there are only 11 weeks. I don't know for Pavlik but usually boxers take a 2 weeks vacation break after a fight, then start the training slowly. Maybe unrealistic was not the proper word, let's say it's tight then.

 

They intend on only having 3 weeks off in between fights. Keeps Kelly in the gym and focused.

They had two dates they were looking at, the 13th and the 20th. The 13th was already booked in Youngstown by my promotional company, so Jack was either going to go the week before or after. He choose after. Thank god! lol

Hey Db....Have we heard anything about prospective opponents for the Aug bout?

 

I don't know. Bédard from Interbox said Showtime wanted the fight to be held near the super 6 final, October the 29th. interbox has reserved the Bell Center for November the 5th but it was for a fight against Kessler.

 

I think they're still working on those details... Networks... two fight package deal (August and November).

 

Nothing in writing yet. Just names being thrown around. I expect it will be very soon though.

He's doing good. He's working a lot and we're getting things in order for our Aug. 13th event. Things are shaping up really well and it should be a helluva show. 3 titles are up for grabs, WBC female champ Mary McGee, and 3 HW's on the card. Can't wait!!!

 

Sounds good. I just marked my calender. But won't you need an EVEN number of HW's? :huh
