He was bidding his time.:deal Waiting for the proper opening. Hermit's a fine poster, as are you, we are just having fun.
And not even this year..... Loew has warned Americans to treat Lockett with more respect, but damned, just no footage available.
Honestly, I don't think he is...I think at the weight he is B+ (e.g. Bute is B at SMW and Kessler A-) :good
This concerns me about this Lockett fellow as well. I'd feel a hell of a lot better if I could see SOMETHING. He has a good record, though I don't recognize most of the names, I know that doesn't mean anything. Mr.Plow I think it was, was giving out some good info on Lockett the other day, but that's all I've seen. I had to Google Lockett to even see what he looked like. lol.
Pavlik is much too good for John Duddy imho. He has incredible heart and chin, but absolute no sense of protecting himself - and with Pavliks great punching power - this should be over before round 7 unless John is unknockable. Pavlik would still win on pts though. AA will not lose to Ayala. Lee's loss was a surprise, he had skills, but in truth was nothing more than a promising prospect. Now he has to pick himself up again. If all else fails - maybe Stinks will move up again.
:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl Or the always exciting Stinky Winky:deal . There seems to be those that still think he's a legacy sealer.:rofl
Yes, Pav's achilles seems to be his defense, but when you get to see Taylor II, you'll see a better version. It was better for JT by far too, and much more of a chess match than a slugger shoot out. Pav's defense is a little better than he gets credit for IMO. He blocks with his gloves pretty well, even if sometimes it can appear shots are getting thru. The Miranda fight, people talk about 4-5 right hands that Miranda landed, and?... Well that was about it. In JT 1, Pav did indeed get caught big time, took like 15 clean shots to put him down for a 2 count. Yes, he was shaky when he got up. To me that's part of his being 25 and not yet having the full experience to realize: "hey, that was some hurtful ****, I might just stay on one knee until about the count of 7 or so."
I will find out in a few hours, concerning the Taylor II, until then I'll take your word for it. Pavlik is as you say still young - and will make the mistakes that youthful bombers do. He believes in his power - as long as he doesn't stay overconfident in it. His defence is okay, not great, and he should improve his footwork. Even if Taylor isn't what he was made out to be by some, he has still underrated handspeed, when he actually wants to show it - he suffers greatly from low workrate though, as proven against Stinky Winky.
It will be the best JT you have ever seen, I bet you that much.:deal JT was like a damned cobra in there in part 2. I was nervous as hell until it was over.
