The Kessler KO: Video

The thing that got in the way for kessler after round 4 was Cals jab.. He never expected that one but he'll be better prepared for it if it comes to a rematch.. Anyway Kessler ddn't have the best trainig up untill the match with a sufering hand injurie..

 

Those guys have nothing to do about it. The only thing that matters in this case is how Kessler handled the job, a job which he did better than expected...

It speaks volumes with that combo he hit Haussler with to KO him, it could happen to anyone...

 

I believe he will fight the winner of Taylor vs Lacy

 

I hope so, he'd be too much for either of them IMHO.

 

Yep he did the job as best as possible, and any boxer can KO another boxer as you said. I just wondered where "kessler can now accomodate calzaghe adapting" came from, what is it based on?

Hopefully he can fight the Lacy / Taylor or Froch / Pacal winner in his next fight, would be a good one!

 

No. he already said he'd unify w/ the winner of froch and pascal.
that's why he fought a bs fight with haussler to take care of his mandatory.

 

It's not based on anything, but what Kessler was expecting at the time was a swarming fast hitting/slaping fighter to be oposed... Cals unexpected jabbing was crucial to the fight... And a not a entirely injurie free Kessler helped along the way...

Anyway Kessler would keep his right guard up, and then trying trying to jap with his right when he would see an oppoortunity, Kessler would then make a hook from the left hand side, if it could happen then aproach with a strong compo..

I don't see any othetr way for Cal to chance style.... As it is right now Calzaghe is the best ever SMW ever..

 

KO'd by a jab. I think if JT looks good against Lacy(which he should) that Taylor vs Kessler is the best fight to be made at 168.

 

Kessler would be serious trouble for Bute, if he thought Andrade was too tough and he got tired against him then wait till he meets Kessler. Kessler is very underrated and an excellent fighter.

 

It wasn't a jab, it was un uppercut-like left hand, though it's not a KO punch yet it still was too much for this guy. No wonder Kessler was 33-1 favorite.

 

He didn't school him. Lets see if he can beat some better fighters then Hassler.

Kessler only fights one way and throws the same combos. Very easy to figure out. The first very good fighter he fought figured him out.
