Well here are only 3 American 168 pounders. 1 is a bum the second has a glass jaw and the third only had 1 fight at 168 against a Middleweight. Kessler is probably the best fighter at 168 but it is a very weak division.
which part, the Bute, Andrade, Kessler Calzaghe etc thing Or the notion that Obama is going to be next US President
Calzaghe is a Light Heavyweight now and will be retiring next month. Andrade has a great chin and is limited as **** but has a iron will. He's a poor mans Margarito. Bute's best win is Andrade. And if you can only name three fighters the division is sad.
You go ahead and mention light heavy's, disregard Pavlik (he's really a Smw or Mw in nature) Hopkins he's ol.... Abraham Who would be able to challenge the current crop of SMW??
hehe - the SMW is a weak division again ... SMW doesn't have any strong SMWs yes, but it isn't a weak division. Kessler, Bute, Mundine, Taylor, Froch, Inkin, Andrade, Green and more (and proberbly Pavlik and Abraham soon) As for Mundine being the biggest threat to Kessler - and out of form Kessler with backproblems already beat Mundine in Australia - pretty convinsingly... Mundine simply doesn't have the confidense and chin to utialise his talent versus Kessler. Mundine might have the tools to beat Kessler (or give him a tough fight), but he doesn't have the mental strength to deliever...
