If he loses a very wide decision, a tune up fight and then Bute. It its a close fight win or lose, Joe Calzaghe... If he wins and Joe retires, an american - Taylor or Hopkins perhaps
If he wins, I hope he'll fight against the winner of Berrio-Bute next, a fight that will determine the first undisputed SMW ever and only the third person to hold the four biggest ABC's at the same time. If he loses, then I hope he'll fight Mundine again (If Mundines eye is OK of course) or perhaps still the winner of Berrio-Bute.
Kessler knows very well that winning on points in hostile territory of this magnitude is a lottery with poor odds. He will do whatever it takes to knock JC out resoundingly. I can imagine JC being knocked down early on, come up again with MK all over. The second knock down will leave JC looking for his mouth piece while he only finds a couple of his teeth.
i think kessler will get hit a lot in the first 3-4 rounds, but then he will start powerpunching for a couple a rounds, and finally he wil catch joe even with a lot of punching-tko or a clean kock out!thats the way i see it.
As much as I hate the Eagles (sorry dude) I am with you 100% on this one. Slappy Calzaghe might annoy Kessler with his nonsense, but eventually Kessler will land his right hand & Joe will be on the canvas. Kinda the same way I felt about what Pavlik was gonna do to Taylor. Can't wait for this one!:good
a bigger hitter in lacy caught calzaghe with some good rights and he barely blinked, but kessler will take him out with one shot?
Look at Beyer, he's selling ice cream in Bremen these days, after he meet Kessler! Maybe Calzaghe should pick up square dance after nov. 4, after all he's so fast, and he's footwork is so good. Sorry I can't stop

The really good thing is the way Kessler will beat him. I think it will look more like a Siaca beating than a Beyer beating. I think Joe will realise, rd. 8-10, that he can't take further beating and recognise the inevitable. If he leaves his chair, he will face a devastating KO in front of his fans or his corner will have to give up for him. Kessler is very confident of the outcome, regardless of some, soon to disappear bogus analyst predictions. Calzaghe is thinking a lot about his demise these days. What to do after a loss. Kessler i only thinking about beating Joe, not losing to him. This is indeed the perfect scoop for Mogens Palle. Congrats. By the way. Forget about Veit et al. Kessler is another animal. You should better consider the poor performance the last couple of fights joe had. He really sucked. Even using BS excuses like he fought down to their level. If his so godly good why did he not dispose of them fast and like the young joe. Because his hands are **** and busted up. Hence Kessler does not have to worry about getting ko'ed. Why could Joe not finish Jeff Lacy. According to Lacy himself (go google if you need evidence) Calzaghe does not hit very hard. He slaps. The reason for all the blood is because of Joe highly irregular slapping makes the tape tear small wounds in the skin. By the Way, talking of Lacy. His personal winner is Mikkel Kessler by far. As is Andrade, Mundine, Beyer, Bika, and probably most active fighters you ask. Kessler will not get recognition he deserves because he will be too dominant and people and joe himself will explain his humiliation with old age and bad hands.
You can add, the soon to become IBF-champ, Bute to that list of fighters who favour Kessler. Manny Steward also said on HBO that he thought Kessler would win. And probably most importantly I say so.:yep The only way for Joe to win is a hometown robbery or a BS-stoppage if fatboy O'Connor is ref.
