168 and 175 is about to explode tons of young fighters just about to make thier moves. Kessler isnt going to rule anything, he is going to reach Sven Ottke levels if he dont start fighting real fighters. Calzaghe is a plus but he lost and outside of that he only has Mundine and a former featherweight.

Talk about calling someone the next Pavlik??? Dawson??? NOPE kessler:yep

You conveniently forgot Andrade there, who just gave the supposed #2 SMW all he could handle. I guess that wouldn't have fitted in with your agenda.

    Featherweight :?

drag Andrade along hey??? the guy is very limited and will lose 10 fights before its over. In his two step up fights he has been outboxed and has barely won any rounds. Yes he was dominated by Bute as he was by Kessler..Far from a great fighter. But Kessler fans have to drag him along because he is the best fighter that Kessler has beatten.:good

    :-(

Kessler is a good fighter but he has to be matched smart which isnt the stuff of a dominate fighter or a guy that will rule anything. Bottom line is if he keeps fighting the kind of fighters that he has been fighting then he will be seen as a guy that isnt willing to step up and as I stated before the next Sven Ottke, if he starts fighting all comers he will start to lose fights. match him smart and it will be good for him. IE he should have taken the fight with Miranda he would have won SMART, he should stay away from guys that will make him reset his feet all night and fight him on angles he will lose NOT SMART.

    Wake up dude.

Kessler has fought the best possible opponents at 168 the last 4 years. He went to Wales and sydney and latest to Germany.
He needs to fight Bute, but Bute himself has said that he isnt ready.
Sure, it was a flop not fighting Miranda but for ****s sake Miranda is a middleweight who has been dominated by Pavlik and king Arthur.

Nobody wants to fight Kessler. Thats the ****in issue. He is a risk/reward nightmare.
But I have hopes that he will face either Winky, Taylor or Hopkins in his next fight.

You know jack ****. Comparing him to Svenn Ottke is not only stupid. Its ******ed and shows you know nothing about boxing.
Maybe you are just an ignorant hater. :****off

Kessler hasnt fought the best over the past 4 years. He fought Calzaghe...

PS no one is scared to fight Kessler, kessler talks alot though his people in the media and doesnt make fights happen.

    Abraham would probably KO him....
    B-Hop would probably stop him...
    Dawson would certainly stop him...
and i'd put money on Bute beating him....
hell, i'd put money on Green and Coddrington beating him...

probably. but i would'nt bet on it. he's in his prime now, and will be declining within that time frame. does'nt he have constant(neck? back?) injuries as well? could end up like vargas did.

I have to disagree on two points.

After Kessler won the WBA title, he in the next 5 fights took on the top 5 at 168 by the Ring. He only missed out on Lacy.

Secondly i think Teampalle should speak out a lot more. Make pressure for the next fight please. Call out some fighter. Maybe Hopkins who stated: "Kessler................... who is Kessler?"

If nobody wants to fight him, why doesn't he call Chad Dawson out?

He's mentioning other LHW's in Calzaghe and Hopkins in his "my 5 preferred fighters" press release, why not fight Dawson?

Because he doesn't want to get his ass kicked again, is why.
