The only defense his fans have for Khan's terrible Glass Jaw is the idea that he took Maidana's best shots. The fact is, it wasn't until the later rounds after Maidana took Khan's best punishment that any meaningful shots landed. [yt]NZ0bjoiIesQ[/yt] See round 9 and particularly 10. Maidana is completely lethargic and at the start of round 10 takes the best part of 10 seconds after the bell to get up off his stool atsch. It's this lethargic, energy-less Maidana, barely got the legs under him to plod forward that nearly kills Khan at the end of the fight. Maidana has never scored a KO after the 8th round in his entire career, yet came strikingly close to taking out Khan in the last quarter of their fight. Khan has a Glass Jaw. The evidence is abundant. It's irrefutable.
I know, Gneus7. It's incredible that such an obvious fact needs to be reiterated for the most delusional of all boxing fans. Luckily, I'm not a church-going man so I have the time this afternoon to dedicate to educating the deluded :smoke
Rather than just throw insults around because you're incredibly butthurt about the cold facts of your Glass Jaw'd hero, why don't you at least try and refute patsch
You're an idiot 99% of the times but this is the 1% that you're on the damn money. Khan has an abysmal glass jaw and anyone who denies it dksab. Just watch the Prescott fight, all is clear Prescott's jab had Khan wobbling up and down the fking ring. :deal
It's not just the Prescott fight, it's all the other fights where light-hitters like Limond and Gomez have had him on the canvas. In fact, for most of his career, Khan has been carefully matched against fighters who generally do not have a lot of power. Or those like Prescott or Maidana whose power is overrated and based mostly on knocking out lower-level opponents. Maidana, as others have suggested, is greatly overrated as a power puncher and even then, he almost had glass jawed Konman out of there. Khan is a KO waiting to happen again, nothing more.
The comedic value this man brings to the sport, though. Quality Chicken legs dance like his haven't been seen in the world of boxing since Zab Judah vs Kostya Tszyu.
Khan took Maidana's best like a boss... Don't forget that Maidana beat up & made Ortiz quit prior to this & the rest of 140 stood aside and watched in awe as "Glass jawed" Khan took him on... & to think that Ortiz still managed to make his way into the ring with Floyd LOL & people payed for that sht... I feel sorry for you that you watch Khan Maidana and just get butthurt that Maidana didn't manage to land the shots that could have knocked Khan out...just enjoy the fight you shallow f*ck LOL
Khan was getting pummeled with Chinos best punches . Maidana was at his strongest at 140 . The last 3 rnds Khan absorbed everything Maidana hit him with . in this fight there was no bell that save Khan , he got caught early and had no choice but to bite down and survive Chinos entire onslaught which is exactly what he did .
Khan took Maidana's best shots with "cheating gloves on" better than Chinaweather, and he has a better chin than him :hey :deal
:rofl:rofl:rofl Khan has a better chin than Mayweather???atsch Man, some of you let your hate for this guy obscure ALL rationality, don't you? Mayweather is annoying, and is nowhere near "the best ever" as he likes to proclaim - but he does NOT have a worse chin that the super-fragile chinned Amir Khan. -(
