Prescott had the same share as Khan???

    You sure?

I'd be very very surprised if that was true

I think Arthur and Cook would have picked up around £70k each - I am sure Audley had a few quid himself.

I would be surprised that Khan gets anything really, after all the flunkies have been paid - the cousin's mate's girlfriend's brother and his pet goldfish included.

Back to topic - massive failure. Great news.

I am telling you now that Sky will have spent at least £500k on advertising the fight on there channels, the 4 30 minute preview shows, radio and print advertising. even the advertising they sell would not cover their costs. also the money they would spend on putting on a 3 hour tv show would not add up.

The MEN was not a sell out, and even if it was the amount of fights warren put on that night he wold of not broken even putting the show on there. Beetson i guarentee Arthur will have got at least 250k. When Kevin Mitchell was commonwelth champ and only on undercards or top of small bills, he was getting minimum 70k a fight. also its been said many times presscott got less than John Fewkes 40k offer that hes turned down, i doubt he got more than 10k (still a **** load in columbia)

khan himself will have also lost out. if the fight has been on setanta or ITV he would of got a guarenteed purse, however he will have got a minimum sum this time, and then a percentage of ppv buy. this could even be his lowest purse.

the only person to get anything out of this card was Nicky Cook. rightfuly so.

Considering countries like Britain and the US have a population In the millions, even 350,000 Is low really. PPV's hardly ever do well.

The PPV figures may have fallen below expectations but at least there is some comfort for Warren & co - less viewers saw Khan get ko'ed live than if they had remained with ITV....

Flippant? Sorry if it came across that way. :huh

The emphasis I made was on viewers witnessing the event live (would usually have been millions on ITV) although I take your point about replays on the news and youtube, etc.
