froch handles Adonis bombs and gets floored maybe once. and then the tables turn and Adonis gets floored late on after a slow hard crawl of a battle.

 

The evidence is in that left hand of Stevenson and while Froch takes a good punch he is very hittable and there is just too much power for him to deal with. Froch can box some but that's not his strong suit, his ability to take a good shot is what sustains him but in a Stevenson fight, I don't think that will save him. Lights out.

 

again, where is the evidence? every time forch has taken a power shot of any kind previous, and he has taken many as you confirm (hes hit a lot), he either smiles, or keeps coming, or rarely is floored and gets straight up, recovers and keeps coming.

there is ZERO evidence for him getting stopped by big punchers. all the evidence is for him coming right back at big punchers.

 

Based on Stevenson clearly having a lot more power than Groves and Taylor, Froch gets floored all night and loses a wide UD. How's that?

The facts are, yes he can take a shot but he has been hurt and stunned numerous times and can get knocked out or counted out just like anyone else.

Does a fighter first have had to be knocked out previously in his fight history to be eligible to get knocked out vs a power puncher the like of which he has never faced before? What a load of dreck.

It happens all the time, guys with solid chins who have never been knocked out finally meets a puncher that can punch harder than they have the ability to absorb. They get starched.

Groves already showed us Frochs threshold, Stevenson arguably punches even harder so it really isnt a stretch imagining him getting the KO. But Froch has already answered the question by refusing to even entertain the thought of a clash with Stevenson.
