Biggest titleholders as in the tallest (not the heaviest),these are the biggest of the big in boxing's biggest division.

    Nikolay Valuav 7'0"
    Tyson Fury 6'9"
    Vitali Klitschko 6'7"
    Deontay Wilder 6'7"
    Henry Akinwande 6'7"
    Jess Willard 6'6" 1/2
    Wlad Klitschko 6'6"
    Ernie Terrell 6'6"
    Anthony Joshua 6'6"
    Primo Carnera 6'5" 1/2
    Charles Martin 6'5"
    Lennox Lewis 6'5"
    Riddick Bowe 6'5"
    Tony Tucker 6'5"

I think these are more or less accurate heights give or take the odd half inch or two.Now if you were to rank all of them in both abilities and in H2H matchups against each other which of these giants, who have been at one time or other (and in some cases, currently) all held heavyweight titles, would be at the top of the rankings?

This is not about historical status or career achievements but simply a ranking list based on just abilities and matchups against each other. Some may want to exclude current titleholders like Joshua and Wilder if they find it hard to gauge their levels due to them still been in a relatively early stages of their careers but I will leave that decision to yourselves.

This is kind of a low point for the forum!

I think Butterbean should gain entrance on account of weight and undisputed "King of the Four Rounders" status.

Yeah, I would be surprised if those 4 didn't top most people's lists. I will be interested to find out how people view the chances of current boxers, Joshua, Wilder and Fury against the others?

Why? Asking how the giants fare against one another is definitely an interesting topic and thread. Long overdue too.

Agree this is an interesting thread idea.

    1. Lewis
    2. Bowe (tempted to put him no.1 but feared the backlash from Lewis fans)
    3. V. Klitschko
    4. Joshua (time may prove me ridiculously wrong on this one)
    5. W. Klitschko
    6. T. Fury
    7. Tucker

    93. Wilder:) (only kidding, but its hard to gauge his level because of competition level so far)

You may have to add Hughie Fury to the list in a couple of weeks.

I have Lewis top. Followed closely by bowe and vit. Then wlad. Fury followed by tucker.. Aj to soon to rate for me accurately so put him behind tucker slightly.

If he scores a sensational KO next week against Wlad, would it have much influence on how you rate him? There are some over on the General Forum that already have him able to handle most heavyweights in H2H both from the past and currently.

Wilder and Fury don't seem to get the same kind of love though, even though they should be regarded as been ahead him in terms of achievements and what we have seen from them in fights.
