I just realised after re-reading the thread that I copied your top3.:beer-toast1:

    As for Parker/Fury, you well be right as I am not too confident, I reckon;

    55% Fury decision
    35% Parker KO
    5% Parker decision
    5% draw
    0% Fury KO:)

How can you not rate Bowe, when he was on (admittedly not too common an occurrence) he was exciting to watch and super skilled. Rare to see such a monster of a man putting punches together like he could.

Also, Joshua is another giant with an exciting style although I realise you may not be convinced considering his opponents so far, still, you must admit he looks promising. Hopefully Wlad will dampen down the hype a bit next Saturday.

It will definitely alter his position then Ken no doubt. And if he score s a magnificent ko then full credit to the guy for it. I think the klitschko fight will tell us a lot about aj for sure.

OK perhaps I was a bit too harsh.

Why this recent monomaniacal obsession with size though!

I just don't. He fought nobody in an era where there were people to be fought. Simple as that.

I don't know it's like comparing the best punchers, why not.

Also SHW vs SHW fights kind of take a unique style on their own. Which is why it makes this interesting for me.

In terms of resume I would say:

    1. Lewis
    2. Wlad
    3. Bowe
    4. Carnera
    5. Vitally
    6. Willard
    7. Fury
    8. Tucker

I wouldn't call it a personal or even a board obsession. I can't say I've seen many threads like this one recently but anyway no one is saying that bigger is necessarily better just pointing out how heavyweights on the whole, do seem to be getter bigger in the last decade or so with the measurements of those listed boxers to show that point. I just thought that some might find that an interesting observation and topic subject

Afterall like the old restored films of Carnera that reznick does a great job in posting, shows, people have always been fascinated with size especially when it makes them stands out amongst those around them, as in Carnera's case.

That's the problem with Hughie Fury and something he shares with the biggest of them all, Nikolay Valuav, which is he doesn't come anywhere near punching his size and weight. Cousin Tyson isn't much of a power puncher either so that along with the size might just be a family trait.

I know the boxing olds are wary of 'the next big thing' as many get hyped to the heavens only to disappoint but Joshua is rated very highly by majority of the sports insiders. His progress so far is encouraging as is his attitude and dedication - win or lose against Klitschko, Joshua will be a force at heavyweight for the next decade.

Well I'm no expert but I know Dempsey didn't fight some of the best fighters of his era, similar to your gripe with Bowe.
