Sorry if this is common knowledge by it was news to me.

Apparantly the Klits are contracted to fight 4 times a year between them. if Vitali retires that leaves Wladamir to pick up the pieces.

A deal in principal has been agreed for David Haye to fight one of them. Everyone is just waiting around to see what Vitali does next.

The deal with Haye was for Vitali to fight him prior to Haye Chisora. That's gone now.

    No it's not.

Like I said. The deal is done in principal and has been for a while.

Sorry but how can you know this?

According to haye himself, and nacho above, the deal has been done for a while, and eveything depends on Vitali whether it happens or not.

So unless you are super in the know somehow, or are connected to the Klits how can you be so sure??

No I'm pretty sure he failed in his bid to get in.... but he has put the announcement of his (boxing) future off until early next year.

yeah and thats the way it should be,

only difference at TOP Level the Boxing Boards should be telling you who your fighting, ensuring the Best fight the Best and the TOP Contender(s) have to be met!

    I don't think he'll fight again.

There's no reason for him to either - he's satisfied his urge after having his first career cut short.... might as well retire.

Even though I don't particularly like Vitali, I'd hate to see him go out on a loss to David Haye. Would be awful to see.

This will be down their contract with RTL and would explain why they often (nigh on always) fight less than stellar opposition. If one of them became injured the other needs to fight on or they lose cash. I think Vitali will retire and that Haye will fight for the WBC belt once somebody easily beatable wins it.

I don't believe Vitali wants the fight.

If he's "satisfied" with his less than stellar resume, then fine, it's not exactly the sort of thing that legends are made of, but it is what it is, I believe if nothing else the Klitschko's are not stupid, and see the risk there.

Haye done himself with his non-effort against Wladamir, the boxing fans don't forgive him, in a similar manner to Amir Khan levels of Hatred, the rivals of Haye are free to do whatever they like, as long as it affects Haye in a negative manner, it's all forgivable, and the fact that team Vitali basically agreed to fight Haye, then couldn't wait a few weeks and just had to fight the great Manuel Charr?
That's all good, it's only David Haye after all.

To be fair, beating Haye isn't going to enhance Vitali's resume very much at all.

Haye should stick to flogging his £2.99 biography on Twitter, he's not a serious fighter and was pretty much humiliated against Wladimir.

He'd EASILY be top 5 on Vitali's resume, EASILY.

"He's not a serious fighter" is a purely ignorant statement, anyone who seriously knows their boxing knows he's basically the most "serious" heavyweight without a belt, regardless of his personality or behaviour.

I agree, who is Haye, really?

Since the win over Enzo, he didn't really build on that platform and instead preferred to turn up to the opening of an envelope and use every opportunity that Steve Bunce gave him to talk **** about people.

The non-effort against Wlad was particularly damning, as much as I hate the bloke I'd have had much more respect for him if he'd really gone for it.... in reality he didn't really have the self-belief required to do the job.

He didn't look at Wlad and think ''I can beat you'', he looked at him and thought ''oh ****, it's actually happening now.... what do I do?''

I think he was forced to fight Wlad, because of the negative reaction towards the Harrison debacle.

It's a shame in a lot of ways, I'm not saying he'd have been a respected figure amongst the boxing fans like Froch is for his balls to the wall attitude, but he'd certainly not be considered a pariah if he'd done things differently.

As it is, he bullshitted his way to a shot and then fought like a sissy, and then ''retired''. Great stuff!

Ive read he spent £10m on his political campaign, if he can earn £20m for a Haye fight he'd be mad to turn it down.
