you must be thinking of the Foreman fight. Foreman would make Marciano crawl on the floor 3 fights out of 4. Anyone who believes otherwise is racially biased.

Are you claiming to be racially biased?

The '30s were pretty crap. The '50s at least had elite though smaller fighters like Jersey Joe and Archie Moore and the '80s were bad, but nowhere near as bad as today as you had guys like Witherspoon and Bruno who, while being flawed, could actually fight. I am sorry but Chisora, Glass Jaw Haye, Calvin Brock, Fat Eddie, and Glass Jaw Solis are utter ****. Only a few of today's fighters are in shape, none of them can fight, and 9/10 of the current crop are complete Glass Jawed Jokes. And the Klitschkos still don't get rid of them in devastating fashion.

HBO refusing to air HW Boxing has nothing to do with Americans being jealous of European success, because if that was the case, Lennox would have killed the division. The difference is that the Klitschkos are limited fighters who have boring fights against limited opposition that truly ATG fighters would have out of there in a matter of minutes.:deal:hi:

Frazier did everything he could against probably the hardest puncher the division has ever seen, Wlad was reduced to a rag doll against an out shape golfer.
The 60s-70s-90s were the best HW eras imo, Marciano, Louis and Holmes didn't fight in "great" eras. but atleast the contenders showed up in shape and they held on to their titles with everything they had, unlike Vitali who quitted against a MW and Wlad who was smashed to pieces by a golfer :verysad

The difference is that when those divisions were weak the champion was destroying the weak competition in brutal and embarrassing fashion the way that a champion should. Glass Jaw Wlad had Glass Jawed, blown-up CW Gaye standing stock-still in front of him with his hands down and his vaunted jab only connected 20% of the time. He made Haye look like Willie Pep AND George Chuvalo because the handful of times he did land his right cross it had little to no effect on Haye who we KNOW is in possession of a Fragile Glass Mandible. Not only could he not "pizza face" him as you ******ed Klit Klowns were repeating ad nauseam, he couldn't even knock him down once and struggled to hit him. Vitali just went life and death with Chisora who is a rank amateur and the fight his nuthuggers point to most often was a TKO loss to a fat, past-it Lennox Lewis.

They are overrated and if they were truly great they would make the division look like what it is, pure ****. Instead they jab and grab their way to decisions and late stoppages over Glass Jawed Jokes who Tyson would have out of there in under 5, to a man.:deal

I think George had lost a little bit of snap on his punches by that point, being 48 and everything.

Briggs also said that Foreman hit harder than Lewis. Yup, two guys he stood upto for a combined 24 rounds hit harder than a guy who bounced him off the canvas, had him reeling every time he landed, and stopped him inside of 5 rounds.
