The Klitchko management team cherrypicks opponents based on styles. So Vitali will never fight a fast, slick fighter (he learned that after the Chris Byrd debacle); Wlad hasn't ducked many fighters, but he has yet to fight Chris Arreola and Thomas Adamek. Vitali Klitschko has so many nut-huggers that he can get away with fighting a no-name bum (Manuel Charr) while top heavyweights like Eddie Chambers, Ruslan Chagaev and David Haye just sit at home with nothing to do. Eddie Chambers recently outboxed Thomas Adamek with one hand (losing a hometown decision in my view), and not one of the "experts" suggested he deserved a shot at Vitali. And why is Wlad fighting Wach (I don't even know his first name) instead of fighting Thomas Adamek or Chris Arreola? And then the promotors wonder why there's not a lot of money in boxing. I'm going to keep ignoring the Klitschkos until they retire from their ducking.
There is a tiny bit of truth to a couple of the points you make, but I think the fact that the rest of the division is: Crap Fat Unskilled Unmotivated Too small (the few with decent talent or motivation) Inactive Has done far more to kill the heavyweight division. I could name 10, hell, 20 fighters from 1985-2000 that would put up better fights, or be better than, the rest of the division (the 2 brothers excepted). That includes all of the guys who were coked out of their minds.
That's right: Vitali avoids slick boxers like Kevin Johnson while Wladimir avoids hard punchers like David Haye.
There is some truth to the OP's claim here. The K's fight the most clinical, boring fights imaginable.
All fighters who are several classes above the competition kill their division. It's called "dominance" and is amongst the most highly priced attributes in determining legacy. It is complicated by the fact that there are two of them, and this undermines either's claim IMO, but what the **** are you going to do?
The dominate a **** division and dont even fight the best of the **** pile. They're fights are boring as they are one sided. When was the last time Wlad was in a great fight? Its the worst HW division in history and will be remembered that way.

Let us hope he does. Boxing needs someone to come along and dethrone the K's and put some excitement back.
