Im not even trying to say Galento was anything special. But please, look at Schmeling, look at Walcott, Charles and Moore. And than come back and name ONE contender today that was more skilled or had fought a better array of competition.

Weren't as complete? Can you provide a source for this allegation? Because I can supply plenty saying the opposite as well as doing a comparisons breakdown in skills. Put all yesteryears fighters on PED's and the average size stays about the same.

That excellent. But its still a European fighter selling out a European venue. You know you have worldwide recognition when you can sell out on a continent, in a country which produces no top heavyweights. How about Africa? Could Wlad draw the way Ali and Foreman did there?
