i'd lean towards chagaev on rankings but byrd for legacy due to the amount he'd actually at heavy much like many champions, he's attained his status in large part to quantity rather than quality
Call me crazy here, but why would Haye not fight his mandatory, then fight Wlad in late July? Oh that's right because he's being a ***** and trying to avoid fighting his mandatory because he's afraid he may lose to a guy who Klitschko already punished, yet he's supremely confident he'll beat both K2, that seems logical to me. God forbid this "fighter" (Haye) actually have to fight and defend his paper championship. Sickening.
Where are these guys, like who specifically are you referring to that he could have fought and beaten, that match your "skilled, slick, hard-hitting, titan of the ring"...can you give me that list.
It's an ATG photo, in fact it's the dogs bollocks. Get your guy to stop messing around Chef, it's getting extremely boring now from BOTH sides. I can see through what's happening here, hype being built up etc but it's ****ing tiresome. I get the feeling that both WALDO and Haye are laughing at the fans to be honest.
The crux of the problem is if Wlad offered to fight Haye next and Haye said "I want to fight Derek Chisora in 4 months time, first" Klitschko fans would be in meltdown. Haye would be annihilated for it and any one who isn't a nuthugger would agree. Hence why I am now giving Wlad stick. I thought Haye was ducking. I didn't think he wanted to fight Wlad, but after these negotiations where Haye pandered to every Klitschko demand and then for Wlad to turn around and say "I'm fighting Chisora next though", it's a mockery, to Haye, to the heayweight legacy and to us fans. Who is Chisora? His best win is Sam fúcking Sexton and he gassed in that fight and has never been more than 8 rounds. So why wait 4 months to fight a guy Wlad could dispose of within a few rounds? If he's waiting that long he might as well do what Haye asked him to do in order to get their fight on, ditch the Chisora fight and fight Haye next in July. I ain't a fanboy or some biased nuthugger. I'm calling it as I see it. Could Haye conceivably pull out at a later date should Wlad sign? Sure he could, but if he did you know that he'll be finished, he won't get another shot and he WOULD go down in history as an obvious COWARD. Some how I think that would bother Haye, he wants to be the guy who stepped up to the plate and demolished Wlad, he wants those belts but he'd settle for being "a guy who stepped up and got beat by the Klitsckho" rather than the obvious coward who thrice pulled out of a Klitschko fight. That last paragraph is strictly my own opinion though.
:good They are the biggest bunch of muppets on any forum anywhere. Have ignored the facts since the fight broke down even when presented to them on every thread multiple times.
I agree. It's tiresome as ****. I blame haye for a lot of what's happened in the past. Wlad has come out looking really, really bad in this one though. I'd say he's more to blame from what I've seen. I don't see why Wlad would be scared of losing a contract with Chisora. A man who's best opponent has been Sam Sexton, had 14 fights and never been past what, 8 or 9 and was apparently gassed to bits in that fight? Jesus, there are dozens of fighters around of that level. I'd say Chisora isn't even on a Sosnowski level, and I was astounded they let a mismatch like that go ahead. Chisora is a awful, awful title shot. Worse than Harrison, and that's saying something. At least (from the promotion side) there was something to build up in Haye-Harrison. Wlad v Chisora has nothing IMO. It's beyond boring now. So far beyond I couldn't give a rats arse about the heavyweight division any more. We've got 2 guys who won't fight each other because they're brothers, and won't fight whoever has the WBA, either because they don't want to deal with Don King (in the past), didn't want to fight Valuev, or don't want to fight Haye. I don't know which the answer is, but really, I don't care. None of those guys can want to fight each other that badly, or it would have happened by now.
So after not being able to name Wlad's greatest win from a very weak list, you return to trying to rubbish Hayes record instead? Brilliant. This is the trouble with you Klitschko fans. You cant back up Wlads feeble opponent list. You just resort to slagging off everybody else.
Their aren't any. Is that Wlad's fault? No. Does is harm his legacy and the way many fight fans see him? Without doubt. Its a **** position to be in, but he is in it.
Well ****in said, the idiots that come on here blaming Haye or blaming Vlad/Vitali must be living on another planet. Haye chose to fight Audley ****in Harrison, a complete joke fight, just as Vlad/Vitali facing Chisora/Briggs respectively are completely pointless pay days. There hasn't been a heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis, just three guys who could be the best but never are going to prove it and never will need to. The absolute blindness of the fans ensures it, they can take on joke fights and people will still pay, they don't care about legacy that much is obvious from there choice of opponents. They care about money. I officially don't give a **** whose fault it is any more, I'm tired of them all throwing petty insults at each other like it's the school play ground. Either fight, shut up or ****in retire, the three of them are ruining the heavyweight division. Just like Mayweather/Pacquiao I have lost absolute faith in these era defining fights taking place because of greed/ego and the fans that will accept being treated like bitches by the people they blindly love.
