The Klitschko sisters killed HW boxing

If all the other HW didn't have this gentleman's agreement to be fat asses we wouldn't have this problem. A good fighter that can push a klitchko can make a good fight. Vatili-Lewis was a great fight but we just dont have other HW that can force a good fight.

 

Wlad/Vitali is the expection but it's irrelevant because it won't happen. The sole reason it would sell, isn't because it'd be two great fighters meeting, either, it's because it'd a freak show fight. Promoters in boxing have wanted a 'brother vs. brother' match for decades and MMA is the same, which is why there was interest in 'Shamrock vs. Shamrock'. Both brothers have the exact same fanbase, so the only reason it'd be more popular than one of their fights against a separate opponent would be the freak show effect.

Though, like I said, it's irrelevant.

Wlad vs. Adamek would be a fairly big fight but nothing like Wlad/Haye, quite simply because Haye is a bigger star than Adamek is. He has more fans and he's a bigger proven draw. Aside from that, he sells a fight much better than Adamek does.

Vitali vs. Adamek right now, isn't that big of a deal. Of course, closer to the fight, it will grow, sure, but it won't become anything huge. I don't think it'll be about as big as something like Haye vs. Valuev.

And it is partly to do with Wlad, of course. However, it's mainly down to Haye. Like I said, you put Haye in against the other top contenders and then put Wlad in against them, and Haye will make it a bigger event every time. That's not insulting to Wlad either, it's simply because Haye knows how to sell a fight better.

 

Problem is many HWs are too lazy and even the prospect of winning a major belt and earning millions of dollars isn't enough of a motivation to get their ass in the gym.

Povetkin had a guaranteed payday of $2.2 million dollars when he was scheduled to get in the ring with Wlad. Guess what? He thought it wasn't worth the risk an rather bitched out.

He wouldn't even try. Heck he could get lucky with some random shot against a guy like Wlad. But Povetkin wouldn't even believe he has a tiny chance. Incredible.

 

could haye fill Wembley without Wlad or Vitali? I think NO ,but Klits fill stadiums in Germany. I agree Haye attracting many brits , but Klits has more international fans than Haye . Very few, but some people know Klits here in USA , but almost nobody know who is Haye .

 

Haye might be attracting attention in the UK but in the US people don't know he exists.

 

I'm sure more people worldwide watch Klits than Haye and if you talking about money then we don't know and I don't believe anything that Haye or british media report .

 

The Klit girls aren't real boxers, but to say they killed boxing is misleading.
The reality is, the HW division was dying during Lennox Lewis's reign. It was on life support when Lewis fought an pass due Tyson, and it was in cardiac arrest when Lewis beat the hell out of Vitali.

When Lewis retired, it was the signal that the HW division was brain dead and on breathing assistance.

The Klit girl's circus act is just the HW division being pushed and pulled around on strings like a puppet. They aren't very skilled, depend on their height more than anything else, and are as boring as watching "Friends" re-runs, but it is what it is until America once again leads the resurrection with new and exciting talent.

Don't be so hard on the Klit girls. They were never good boxers and are doing the best they can with the limited abilities at their disposal.

 

Most Klits fans are germans , most eastern europeans don't care about boxing .I think with the exception of Poland and Ukraine.

you are right,most of them don't know **** about boxing ,but we were talking about audience ,not about real fans like many brits.

 

Only Brits believe Haye is a superstar or a big draw. Ask somebody in Spain or Canada if they ever heard of Haye and they'll shake their heads.

If Haye could have made big huge fights that generate tons of money against Solis, Adamek or Povetkin then why hasn't he done so? Haye hasn't produce a single big even at HW, he just boxed hand picked nobodies and sold them to the naive British fans. His entire HW campaign is quite shameful compared to what he promised.

If Haye was able to make a big $$$ fight with Adamek, why did Adamek agree to fight the K brothers for a $5 million payday? If Haye was such a global superstar and generated so much money then why didn't he offer Adamek $10 million for a huge PPV fight in Vegas? The truth hurts doesn't it?
