So stop bitching about the 'whys' and deal with it. Why is Wlad facing Wach. Why is Vitali facing Briggs. Why are they facing B-level contenders? Young undefeated fighters? Former champs? Cruiserweight rulers? Big fat guys? Why? Because they ate up the reigning world champions, legit contenders, mandatory challengers and capable veterans pretty quickly so there is the why: their appetite is larger than the HW kitchen's capability. The only top heavies they haven't beaten yet are the ones enjoying smaller paydays and their jaws intact such as Povetkin or Valuev as even Haye got his boxing lesson after 2 years of reluctance. They have to face SOMEONE, let it be former cruiser great Adamek, Gomez or Haye, let it be an undefeated top contender such as Arreola, Peter, Johnson, or Brock, let it be former World HW Champ such as Briggs or Rahman, let it be a former amateur great such as Solis or let it be a reigning titleholder such as Haye, Peter, Ibragimov, Chagaev or Byrd, and yes, a Wach, a Johnson and a Sosnowski in between. What the Klitschkos really should NOT do is clean out the division of the Adameks, Hayes, Heleniuses, Boystovs and Furys, all in one year, because what remains for the next 5? I'm listening! Look at Joe Louis' reign and run through any other long reigning champ's resume and tell me what are you trying to achieve with the 'whys' - and then answer this: WHY NOT?
I think its good that Wlad fights Wach. Wach is undefeated and larger than Wlad. Why wouldn't that be a good fight? Lets be real here, Wach isn't going down after Wlads first punch so it should be a good scrap for a few rounds until Wlad breaks him down. I like it.
I'd rather them spend their remaining years fighting over-matched opponents, then going into early retirment and not fighting at all.
That's right. People bitching about the Klitschkos and the weak division will come to tears thinking about the good old times when the brothers are gone and the weak divison remains.
