The Klitschkos are past their prime...

    I think this is true, which makes it all the more impressive they can maintain their dominance over the division.

    I will have to agree with this.

    Prime Vitaly IMO was seen in his several fights post-Lewis, but pre-layoff.

    I don't agree with the OP.

    Vitali is 38-years old...so it's fair to say that any fighter at 38 might be past his prime. And that COULD be the case for Vitali..I'm just not sure because I think he looked better last night than any other fight since he harpooned Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds.


    Wladimir is in his PRIME right now. He is learning and getting better with each fight. That's the way I see.

    He couldn't get through past prime Lennox Lewis. And stylewise, I think prime Tyson would murder him.

    I think Wladimir has one or two years left before the decline is noticed.

    Vitali, on the other hand, should retire next year (fight Johnson in december, then a bigger fight next year and retire) before risking a loss.
